"A slight disagreement," she hoped, it was obvious that this wasn't like their other issues.
"Well, I do hope it is figured out soon," Mill whispered as she washed Mauve's hair.
"Yeah, me too," Mauve replied, her voice dropped to a whisper.
She half expected Mill to ask for more details but the vampire didn't say more on the matter. Mauve was a bit grateful for this, she knew she was currently at the point where she would say something she shouldn't.
She got into the dining hall to see Jael already seated. For someone who was supposedly busy, he did have time to show up early.
She ignored him completely and went to take her seat. The servants were currently putting out the first meal.
She took her seat and inspected the plate set in front of her. She was hungry but considering her mood, she wondered if she would be able to eat.
