"Don't thank me, I hate your guts and everything you stand for," Jevera muttered darkly.
She did not know why she was here. She had been very angry after Jael had visited her and thought to take out her anger on the human. However, she had taken one look at the puny thing fumbling in the dark and had even been more angry but this time at herself.
She did hate her but she was embarrassed that she had considered the human a threat. She couldn't run, couldn't fight, couldn't even protect herself. There was also the fact that minor injuries for vampires could be fatal for the puny thing and she had thought the human was good enough to replace her.
She touched her head and chuckled a little. "I must be delusional," she said out loud for Mauve to hear.
Lady Jevera looked back at the human who wasn't saying anything, she was just following behind her diligently. Jevera turned her head forward.
