All Vottes wanted is to be free. She wants to go through proper training as a Wizard. Even if she was forced to become a Dragon Slayer Wizard. That didn't mean, she doesn't want to improve herself.

However, Vottes never thought, the very person that became her friend after she begun her life on the run. Will give into her own greed, and sold Vottes out, and lead her pursuers to Vottes herself.

And because of that, Vottes Brave become wary and cautious of others. And cannot never bring herself to become close to another person.

In a way, you could say, Vottes is very similar to Mirajane. But in Mirajane's case, she wanted to prove to others, that she doesn't need or trust anyone else. While Vottes, who been betrayed once, was unwilling to be betrayed once again, shut herself from others like Mirajane did.

However, Vottes didn't have siblings like Mirajane did. She was truly all alone in this life of hers, unlike Mirajane who had Lisanna and Elfman.

Because she could use Magic, was kidnapped, and used as an experiment subject.

Because of her beauty, she had lost count, how many times she felt disgusted by men lustful gazes. And not to mention, being chased down to the end of the world because of her beauty.

And yet, to survive and to flee from her pursuers, she had to use both her magic and beauty to survive.

Vottes used her magic to fight and survive in battles between herself, and her pursuers.

And when she needed money to survive, she had to use her beauty, by luring easy prey, that lusted over her body and beauty, and once they brought to some sealed place. Vottes will knock them out and steal their money and other belongings they have.

Vottes did everything in her dispose to survive, all so she could get away from the grasps of Black Rivers.

And yet… how much longer does she has to suffer in this unfair fate of hers?

On the other hand, Zack soon becomes confused and panicked, when he saw Vottes not only biting her own lips. But even tears begun to drop down her cheeks.

Remembering the playboy wizard, Loke's words and advice when he sees a girl crying. Zack kneeled before Vottes, who hasn't noticed Zack came really closed to her. And begun to wipe away her tears.

"You're all okay? Is it your wounds? I think there is a village around 2km from here. However, before she knew it, that live was taken away from her, like the time in the orphanage. When Black Rivers found her.

And after that, no matter where she goes. Black Rivers seems to know where she is, even to this date. Vottes has no clue why or how Black Rivers seems to know where she is.

It no wonder, she felt shy by Zack' pure action, that has no lust, or green within his eyes. Something she hasn't felt for a long time. Properly the last time anyone didn't look at her with either lust or geed was when she still at the orphanage.

However, because she felt shy, and felt a strange feeling manifesting in her heart, that she doesn't understand. She finally looked down, and her slightly red cheeks become even redder, when she saw her bountiful breasts, that are hidden and held by her white bra, are in pain view.

Maybe because she was too wary or confused by Zack's current actions. That she has forgotten she only has underwear now. Now that she thinks about it, why she only has her underwear on only!?

Her heart begun to beat wildly for a different reason altogether. She even bitten her teeth, before looked up towards Zack. However, as Vottes was going question Zack why she only has her underwear on her, or if he did anything weird to her body.

Vottes's light pink eyes widen, because the moment she raised her head up, not only Zack's eyes are full of seriousness. But he even jumped towards her, and even hugged her into his arms!

Vottes's blank mind begun to spin at none stop, since she is not used to being held or this close to a man. And Zack rolling onto the ground didn't help! As her mind went into overload, and her heart begun to wildly beat louder and louder.

It cannot be help, not only she is being hugged by a man for the first time. She even half naked at that! Even if she acts bolds at times, she still a maiden at heart, how can her brain or heart stop be going of control?

However, that state of confusion soon ended, when she heard something piercing into the ground. And still within Zack's embrace, Vottes turned her pink eyes towards the source of that loud piercing sound, only to find a spear made of earth and stone stabbed into the ground, where she was just at.

While Vottes trying to progress what just happened. Zack on the other hand, still holding Vottes close to him. Stood up, and grabbed Vottes even closer to him, causing her to blush, when he did that. And looked even more serious than before, towards the three people that entered these parts of the cave they are in.

"Tch! I thought get the guy…!" Said the largest among them.

"You almost hit the girl as well, dipsh*t!" Said the shortest among them, as he smacked the large man.

"Please behave yourself little brother, I knew it was an easy shot. But what if we damage the goods? We can heal, but not bring her back from the dead… Mister Rivers won't be happy about that." Said the thinnest among them.

"Big brothers are right… I just too rushed… sorry." Said the largest in every way.

Hearing those voices, Vottes eyes widen, even her face went pale, as she looked towards them as well.
