Klaus Mikaelson to The Rescue

"And, if that's the case. I'll just have to kill you then."

She pushed a syringe into Caroline's arm.

"And, since you are dying soon…."

"I….." Caroline fainted.

"Come on, Jade!" Valerie shouted.

"I am sorry, Ms. Forbes." She whispered.

Valerie Tulle pushed past the doors and went downstairs.

"I am coming for you, Katherine Pierce." She whispered.

Jade Salvatore looked scared. She wanted to help both of them. But, Valerie raised her hand and forced her out.

Katherine Pierce was killed in the next twenty minutes, Valerie forced her blood into a sleeping Stefan Salvatore as James Salvatore watched from behind the curtains, petrified.

Caroline Forbes woke up a few hours later and someone was ripping the ropes away.

"Uhh…." She couldn't focus.

She was drained out of blood and heavily vervained. But the person came into focus. A man. Blue green eyes that shone. A chain dangled from his neck. She recognized the smile.

"Klaus?"

"Hello, love." He smiled at her.

"Klaus!" She looked at him, excited. "KLAUS!"

She hugged him.

"I am so happy to see you, Klaus!!"

"Relax, love.." Klaus told her, laughing. "We still have your husband to deal with."

She laughed harder.

"What happened?" She asked. "To…everyone?"

"I brought reineforcments." Klaus told her, "She's after Stefan right now."

"You didn't bring Hope, did you?" Caroline stood up. "Tell me, you didn't bring her."

"Of course, I didn't bring her!" Klaus said, indigianlty. "I would have, it would have been the perfect bonding time! But, I didn't want you to kill me."

She smiled.

"Freya came with me," He told her.

"What happened to Jade and James?" She asked. "And…..Valerie?" She added slowly.

"Love, I don't have any idea what you are talking about!" He said. "Who are these people?"

"James is Stefan's son! Jade is his daughter." Caroline explained. "And, Valerie is the siphon witch who kept me here."

"Oh, that's better." Klaus sighed in relief. "The girl, Jade, I suppose, took me to Stefan's apartment when I threatened her, there was Valerie. She had killed Katherine already."

"Katherine's dead?" Caroline barely got the words out of her mouth. '

She was not sympathizing with Katherine as a person, but as a mother. What would happen to a nine year old without a mother? And, a father who was unfit?

"And, I gave the kid to the girl and told her to leave." Klaus continued.

"Valerie?" Caroline asked impatiently.

"Oh, her." Klaus directed her out of the room. "I killed her."

"You what?"

"I killed her, ripped her heart out." He said, "Swoosh!"

She smiled.

Both of them came out of the house.

"Thank you, Klaus." She said, "Thank you! For saving me! For buying that land. Because, I think I'll just take you up on that offer!"

"How did you know I bought it?" Klaus demanded.

He had never mentioned that in the letter. It was going to be a surprise.

"You think I don't know you." She said, "I know you, Klaus."

"So, you will know what I am going to say." He said, "Now, that…"

"Of course." She smiled.

He would ask her to come to New Orleans. Move into his house.

"And?" He asked.

"Now, I have to go back, love." Klaus told her, "Goodbye, see you in New Orleans, love."

"Bye?" She looked a little disappointed.

"Hope is transitioning this weekend." He told her. "I need to be there."

"Of course." Caroline nodded.

Klaus was secretly pleased that she wanted to see him.

"Thank you, Klaus." She said, quickly. "I need to go find the kids."

"Stefan's children?"

"Yes."

"Are you really?" He looked at her, surprised. "You will really help them."

"Of course, they are kids!"

"Purity in death." He murmured, "Of course, you'll do it."

She smiled.

"Come to New Orleans, and I will throw you a crazy divorce party!" Klaus told her.

"A what?" She asked. "What?"

"What?" Klaus said indigiantly, "It's a celebration for me!"

She laughed.

Caroline and Klaus ran in opposite directions.

"Hello?" She came into Valerie's house. "Hey…is anyone here?"

"Caroline?" Jade's scared voice came out.

"Hey…" Caroline came in.

She was trembling, so was he.

"Oh, god…" Caroline was extremely upset. "Come here."

She hugged them. She would have been angry at them as regular people. But, she was a beautiful person, inside out. Tears ran down her cheeks.

Caroline Forbes stood behind the hotel, all her black clothes were piled up in a corner. She threw a lit flame on the clothes. They burned.

"Well, I am out of mourning." She said to herself.

She came back to the hotel room. She found a package on the bed. Inside was a red colored dress.

"You are too beautiful to spend eternity wearing mourning colors. This is a little something for you. This dress isn't as exquisite as you but nothing in the world is.

Klaus Mikaelson."

She smiled.
