A Paranoid Cami.

Caroline Forbes-Salvatore drove off to the Mikaelson Compound,

"KLAUS!"

She yelled.

"KLAUS!!"

Her shouts echoed into the quiet house,

"The whole neighborhood can hear you..." He came down the stairs, grumbling.

She opened the doors of the car,

"This is for you!" She said, almost angrily. "She was downtown, she almost killed Damon!"

Klaus pressed his lips together to stop from laughing.

"I thought she said the bloodlust was under control." Caroline sniffled. She took out Stefanie and took out the car.

"It was…..But, she is lately….a little weird." He admitted, "Angry, distant…..I don't know what's wrong with her."

Caroline nodded, understandingly.

How could she not understand?

She did marry a problem drinker.

"Can I stay here for a few days?" She asked. "Just….Till I know that Damon is alright?"

"You are always welcome, love." Klaus smiled, "You know that! Everybody here loves you."

She smiled.

"Thank you."

Caroline Forbes-Salvatore spent the night tending to her little niece, who had the eyes of her dead husband. She laid on the bed, awake, all night, listening to the breathing of Stefanie Salvatore. She thought…..about everything. What the hell was happening? Camille had just tried to kill Damon.

As the sun came up, she came out of the room, and was sitting on the steps of the house. Her face buried into her arm.

"Caroline?" Elijah Mikaelson stood behind her.

She turned around.

"What happened?" he asked, as she quickly wiped her face. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing...It's nothing!"

"You should come in," He told her, "Have some coffee…."

She blinked…..A suit. He was wearing a suit at six am in the morning. She nodded her head. She could use a coffee.

Elijah Mikaelson poured her a coffee, and nodded towards a small table in the kitchen, she sat down. She was holding her head in hands.

"I am….." She whispered to herself. "What the hell am I supposed to do?"

"Do you like pancakes?" Elijah asked. "Caroline?"

She nodded. Not knowing what she was nodding about.

Elijah Mikaelson was in front of the stove. He was making pancakes for Caroline.

She kept looking at her phone,

"Tell me…..Elena, what's happening?" She tapped her phone. Talking to herself.

"I have heard a lot of things about you, Caroline." He poured the batter into the stove. "And….I would really want to visit the school, Hope has told me so much…."

He put a plate in front of Caroline. She smiled.

"You are always welcome." She told him, "You should come and see the place, maybe the children might benefit from you!"

He nodded, sitting in front of her. She was about to take a bite, holding a fork. Her phone rang.

She picked it up. Elena Gilbert flashed before her eyes.

"I'm sorry….I have to take this!" She told him. She hit the button, "Hello…"

She listened for a few minutes, Elijah noticed the change of expression on her face.

"Damon is healing!" She exclaimed. "This is fantastic…..Once Bonnie is back from her trip, I will take them back to Mystic Falls!"

She told Elijah, and took a deep breath. Putting her phone down, and took a big bite.

"God, this is amazing!"

She was eating like a crazy person.

"Slow down, Caroline." Elijah was bemused.

"I haven't eaten anything...in three days!" She took a sip of the coffee. "Elijah, this is amazing."

Elijah Mikaelson smiled. He realized why Klaus and Cami and Hayley liked her. She was so pure. So, innocent. She was a beautiful character.

"Camille!" Klaus Mikaelson's screams interrupted Elija's thoughts and Caroline's breakfast which she was wolfing down.

"Cami!"

"You know that Camille is a vampire, Neeklaus?" He looked at him. "She can probably hear you miles away!"

"She just left!" He said, exasperated. "It was…..It's not like her, ever since she turned…"

"Well, I am off to see Damon!" Caroline got up, "Thank you for the breakfast, Elijah…..I'm going to repay for this soon! In Mystic Falls probably."

She smiled at Elijah,

"And…If I see your crazy girlfriend, I'll text you!" Caroline told Klaus.

"Jealous much?" Klaus looked at her, and snickered.
