A while later.
Christmas was approaching.
Syl went out shopping. He was buying gifts.
He ended up spending over 100,000 points on gifts for various people.
Syl returned home carrying multiple huge bags filled with gifts.
Over the next few days he was going around handing out gifts to tons of people. Anyone he was friends with got one. He even gave some out to the other grades.
Obviously Syl wasn't expecting anything in return but a few people gave him something.
Syl finally made his way back home on the 24th after giving out his last gift.
He entered and looked over at his tree which had 2 gifts under it.
Syl smiled sadly.
The next morning.
Syl woke up and left his pajamas (Pink bunny suit) on.
He got out of his bedroom and went to his living room with a christmas tree in it.
He sat down in front of the two leftover gifts. "Merry christmas. I miss you guys."
Syl opened the two gifts and revealed a his/hers set of slippers and onesies in red and green.
They matched the clothes he was wearing.
Syl grabbed a cup of hot chocolate he had made himself and took a sip.
He looked at a message he received on his phone and smirked for a second.
Syl sat in silence for a short time.
Eventually, a small droplet of water fell into the mug.
Syl sniffled.
That day, a few more droplets fell into his mug before he finished it.
After a while Syl got up and had a shower.
When he returned he had a goofy grin on his face as he had returned to normal.
He left his room and walked around school.
He went to the mall after killing a bit of time.
Syl was wearing a pink hoodie with black jeans that had pink details. He had a black and pink hat on under his hood and a pair of high top running shoes.
When he got near the entrance he saw someone sitting on a bench.
She was wearing skin tight black leather pants and cream/white boots with a cream tank wool tank top under a white trench coat that didn't cover her front, leaving part of her well toned and slim torso visible. She also had a patterned scarf and a purse over her shoulder.
She took a sip from her iced coffee.
Syl gulped at the sight.
He checked his phone again for the message he got earlier.
[Meet me at Keyaki mall in 2 hours, you're paying off part of your bet.]
Syl turned off his phone and tossed it in the air before putting it away and approaching the beautiful woman in front of him.
"What's a place like you doing in a girl like this?" Syl asked.
"Just waiting for my entertainment."
Syl chuckled and bowed. "I'll be here all day."
"Fufu. Good."
Syl stood back up and offered a hand to help her up.
"Then, shall we be on our way, Kiryuin?"
She used his hand to stand up. "I never expected you to have decent manners."
Syl chuckled. "I need to make my parents proud, it's my first date after all."
"Fufufu. Then what were you doing for a month with that girl?"
Syl shrugged. "That was more like walking a dog. I had to lead her by her leash to kick her out."
"Then, you're happy she's gone?"
Syl smiled. "Ecstatic."
Kiryuin smiled.
She grabbed onto Syl's hand. "Good."
Syl was a little shocked but played it off. "So, what wondrous adventure shall we be enjoying today?"
Kiryuin hummed in contemplation. "Surprise me. You're my entertainment after all."
Syl smiled. "How does brunch sound?"
"Lovely."
Syl smiled and led her by her hand through the busy mall.
He looked back every few seconds with a smile as they continued chatting.
Eventually they arrived at the best cafe in the mall, but the line was massive.
It was obviously packed on christmas day.
Syl looked back at his date then to the line and nodded. "This is a problem. Wait here."
Syl left Kiryuin alone for a moment as he ran to the front of the line.
He came back 30 seconds later.
"Let's go." He grabbed her hand again and brought her away.
"What are you doing? Are we going somewhere else?"
Syl smiled and didn't respond.
When they reached the front of the line the person working there smiled. "Welcome, dear patrons. Please enjoy your meal."
"They happened to have an empty table." Syl said as he winked at the worker.
The worker smiled and nodded. "For such a beautiful companion, you must be one lucky man."
Syl laughed. "Right?"
Kiryuin chuckled and allowed herself to be whisked away.
The duo made it to an empty table and Syl pulled out Kiryuin's chair.
She set her purse down and removed her scarf and coat before sitting down, revealing the vanilla perfume she was wearing.
Syl smiled when the scent hit his nose, he loved the smell.
Once Kiryuin was seated, Syl made his way to the other side of the table and took his seat.
He had actually picked up a lot of tricks while 'dating' Kushida for over a month. He had probably been on 20+ dates with her and she was very demanding of him sometimes.
He was also good at picking up social cues when important and learning from experience. Now that he had something to reference when going on a real date, he was much better than any other man would be on his first ever real date.
Syl read the menu.
"What do you fancy?" He asked Kiryuin.
"I'll have a scone and another iced coffee."
Syl nodded and set down his menu.
"First of all, Merry christmas. Are you doing anything to celebrate?"
Kiryuin smirked. "Why do you think I'm here?"
Syl chucked. "It's an honor to be considered a celebration."
"It should be, not just anyone receives the honor of keeping me company."
Syl chuckled. "True, I would never take you for the kind to celebrate the holidays. I feel like your the kind of person who takes a day off whenever you want."
"Of course, why should I work when I don't want to. It's a preposterous idea."
Syl smirked. "I like your scarf by the way."
"Fufufu. It would be a problem if you didn't, considering it was your gift."
"Well, true, but I really think it suits you. It makes your eyes pop. I think it's lovely."
Kiryuin leaned slightly forward. "You have a silver tongue today."
Syl waved her off. "Bah! Nonsense, I'm always a gentleman."
She smiled. "There's the mosquito I know."
"Mosquitoes? Where? I'm lord of the flies!"
Kiryuin leaned forward and rested her head on her hand with her elbow on the table.
She reached her other hand forward and poked Syl in the nose. "You're whatever I say you are."
Syl started, starstruck, then he gulped. "S-sure…"
"Fufufufufufu."
Syl smiled when he heard her laughter.
