The deaths

Niola screamed at the top of both her longs as Ifárànmī raised the dagger. Almost stabbing her chest, a force suddenly tossed the dagger out of his hands to the ground. And he felt the supernatural force.

"Demons," he muttered under his breath with a groan, he searched around for the knife then he sighted it very close to the burning flame. "There!" he said as Fagbohun looked around and heard rustling.

"Not so fast." The croaky loud voice said, it became windy as if it was going to rain, and lightning flashed in the sky, then he came out from the dark, his eyes burning as red as the coal in the flames.

"Cupidum!" Ifárànmī said in awe as the ground built up to hold his legs firm and he couldn't reach the dagger. while fagbohun brought out a sliver blade they had prepared for any demon they crossed.

Trying to catch her breath, Niola strained against the rope, "Please let me go," she cried.

Ifadahunsi hid behind a tree watching; he followed the possessed kunle through a portal cupidum made in Tolu's living room, he tried to stay as quiet as possible as he was shocked to find Ifárànmī and Fagbohun in the forest with a lady tied to a tree. He squinted closely and he suspected the lady tied was Eniola. Looking around, he thought of ways to get to that tree without them seeing him.

"You demon!" Ifárànmī shouted in anger then said an incantation, and blue frames circled Cupidum immediately. "I'm sending you back to hell."

Cupid gave a wry smile, "Don't forget we would go together, Anchor," he said walking through the flames. "Your little performance can't hold me Ranmi." He approached the campfire burning and he pulled something out of the fire; it was a large bow made of burning flames. And his look changed as the bow formed, his clothes burnt off leaving a black heavy pouch across his body carrying arrows of flames, and chains drops around his waist to form a short skirt. "Save your energy for another." He smirked and drew three arrows. "Worry about them!" He said aloud as the wind blew more and more, and demons flew out of the woods and he fired his arrows.

A lot of demons flew around in their smoky form and when they settle, they take the form of people in black cloaks, Niola still struggled to get out the rope as quickly as she could, Ifárànmī released himself and used the blue fame on the demons trying to get to Niola, some possessed people ran out too and Fagbohun used his silver blade to stab them, killing the demon in the host. Ifadahunsi sneaked past a few trees almost getting to where Niola was tied and he untied one of her hands.

"What do you think you are doing?" Fagbohun said firmly before he could untie the other hand and leg, with the dagger against Ifadahunsi's throat, "you can see. How?"

"And you and your father are here? You people lied to us, you kidnapped my grandniece and we're planning to kill her." Niola quivered as she stared at both men, and it occurred to her that that was her mother's uncle, Ifadahunsi."

"Trust me, Ifadahunsi you have no idea what you are up against, she's the salvation for the demons no matter what, they would get her. And our world will be at doom. We have to destroy her."

He yelled "Nonsense! Tell me Fagbohun, who is the demon here, Cupid is here to protect her even if he's a demon. We are supposed to protect her, all of us—" he began convulsing suddenly and snap! It stopped, and his eyes opened. Ifadahunsi was possessed.

Before Fagbohun could stab him, he knocked him out and released Niola pulling her by the hair.

Niola screamed in pain, and some rebellious demon on Cupid's side came out of the forest. One of them punched a fist into Ifadahunsi's back and pulled out the demon in him, he screamed as the demon expelled then fell pulling Niola with him.

Niola fell to the ground and hit her head on a piece of rock, a long sharp pitch rang in her head and Everything else moved slowly, panting as she felt her warm blood gush down her forehead, and she could hear the loud rhythm of her heart pounding heavily. She looked around, her eyes glistening reflecting the burning fire.

It was as if she was in the middle of a war, which she was. cupidum fired his arrows of flames and he never missed a single shot, every demon it hit, the arrow sinks into them, sparks and they go back to hell. Everything looked too impossible but it was happening, she could see it all. Niola squeeze against the soil and tried to get up, the sky rumbled and rain began to pour.

"Enough!" And commotion stopped and they turn to the voices that terrified their soul.

She walked out of the woods with hundreds of demons with her, all of them wearing black cloaks.

"Danielle?" Niola got up slowly wide-eyed shocked, and she saw the man that attacked her at her house, Chiamaka too, they all had black eyes except Danielle who had white eyes and—"No! Mom!" before she could run towards her mother, Ifadahunsi caught her hand as he got up the ground.

"Wait Eniola, they'll kill you." He said and she whimpered, looking at Tolu, she looked like she wasn't herself and her eyes were tired and lost.

Suddenly Fagbohun tossed his blade and it stabbed Danielle. She stared at the blade in her chest and laughed loudly then stretched her hand towards Fagbohun, and a force pulled him to her and her fingers gripped around his neck. "We are legion, for we are many," Those voices sounded more intimidating this time, she tighten her fingers and he gagged. "Your silver blade is meaningless to us."

"No!" Ifárànmī ran towards them and everything went into slow motion, legion smirked, and snapped Fagbohun's head to the back, then with the wave of a hand, Ifárànmī hit the tree they had tied Niola and he blacked out.

Laughing, legion stared at Cupid and the demons on his side, "Cupidum, always the rebellious one, I wonder what father will say about your treachery, once cherubim, now a fallen, I can't call you a demon like us, because… there you are up against us protecting the one thing you made that will bring salvation to hell." She laughed maniacally again and signaled the sorcerer. "Let me see how heroic you are going to be tonight." She said The sorcerer pushed Tolu forward and tears rolled down her eyes as she stared at Niola who was sobbing.

"Okomi," Tolu sniffed as she raised a shiv to her neck shivering from the cold as the rain fell heavily. "I can't control myself."

"No—No! Stop please," she screamed as Ifadahunsi held her tight. "Do something!" She yelled at Cupid who just stood watching with his bow in his hands. "Please."

"Now give us kimora and we can all go home happily, at least I can tell Lilith to reduce your eternal pain in hell. Be a good brother and don't disappoint your family again."

"Kimora?" Ifadahunsi muttered, "Who is kimora?" Niola looked around, then she realized she is kimora.

"Shut up mortal!" legion said and Ifadahunsi muffled unable to speak. "Cupid, do we have a deal?"

Cupidum scoffed, and aimed his arrow at the sorcerer, "Never!" He growled and shot the sorcerer in the heart, and he turned into ashes.

"Wrong choice," legion said and Tolu walked toward her daughter and slit her own throat.

"No!" Niola screamed and pushed Ifadahunsi away, and caught her mother before she falls hard, then she slowly placed her on the ground, and put her hands across her neck, trying to reduce the blood that pump out of her neck. "Mom, mom, I gotcha ok, look at me… look at me, you'll be fine…"

"I—I'm… sorry," she gagged, choking on her blood, pain in her eyes and she drew her last breath.

"Noo! Wake up… please," Niola cried out. Ifadahunsi pulled her up as the fight got brutal, more demons joined Cupidum and they fought against the legion and its followers.

"Eniola, get up… let's get out of here." He said Eniola got up angrily and her eyes began to burn like a blue flame. Ifadahunsi saw this and he stepped back, frightened at the sight. She clenched her fist and her hands were burning blue.

"Eniola," Ifadahunsi called her as she walked towards the legion, burning demons that came her way with her bare hands. Ifadahunsi's jaw dropped thunderstruck. How is this possible?

But before she got any close, Ifárànmī drove the dagger into her heart and a deafening lightning struck.

"What did you do?" Cupid yelled as he saw him pull out the dagger, she fell whimpering and all the blue flames from her eyes and hands quenched. And all the fighting stopped.

"I just ended the war. She'll burn to ashes and all this will be pointless" Ifárànmī grinned with pleasure as he stared at Niola who grunts in pain. Ifadahunsi fell to his knees and sobbed, no he has lost everything.

"No! You are wrong," Cupidum said, his shoulders slumped in defeat, "you just gave them what they wanted… All this plan in your head was planted there, they wanted you to think you were doing the right thing, kimora is not a Cambion… She was a Nephilim, she was the Angel amongst us, your dagger of saint won't have your fantasy effect on any angel… you just killed the human she was right on the spot they wanted, right on Amargonia's altar."

Ifárànmī looked around, and he realized the Truth, he destroyed everything, and evil as won. Legion's hand pierced his back and pulled out his heart.

"Game over boys," with a wide grin Ifárànmī fell dead and she ate his heart, "go and join your anchor cuppy… in hell." He said and the fire from hell consumed Cupidum inside out and took him to hell and the rest of the demons with him too.

Ifadahunsi was breathing heavily at the sight of it all, he trembled where he knelt, but legion snapped her hands towards him and his neck snapped and he died.

"Help!" Niola's voice was cracked up and barely audible, then she touched her chest and the blood was pumping

Now she felt cold from the inside, then the Earth began shaking, and everything they said sounded faint

"Finally it is time," legion said with so much joy.

She squinted as her vision was all blurry and the earth shook more and more and more, till a rift began to open underneath everywhere her blood had spread.

And it felt like déjà vu again, then she remembered Clearly that she had this vision the day of her birthday when she was in the shower.

Quickly she rolled over and leaned on a tree before the rift open too wide. Everyone was dead. The rift had opened. The gate of Hell was opened.

She heard a voice call her deep inside her and she looked up and died. Then her body became fireflies and flew towards the sky.

A large statue of the gargoyle that hunted Niola before arose from the ground, and there was a gate at its feet.

"This is it," legions said and all the demons were expelled from the people they possessed, the gate burst open, and thousands of demons crawled out of hell and they took their form. And chains were around the neck, hands, and feet of humans.

Cupidum was chained in hell in the devil's Chamber, set for eternal torture.

But it wasn't over.

A bright light shone from the sky, and thunder rumble heavily. One thing they were wrong about was evil doesn't win.
