The 8 Star Demon Lords

Galahad POV,

Galahad rested his head on the table and yawned, this part didn't really need any interference from him. Clayman was already dealt with and any future interactions were set up, he had no interest in the Chuuni these guys were going to choose. Rimuru looked up in thought, "If it's eight, you can't be called the Ten Great Demon Lords anymore huh?" he wondered out loud noticing the change in numbers.

This made most of the people here freeze, they had fought a lot when deciding on the name in the past. "This is bad." Dagruel mutttered closing his eyes, he didn't want to argue for hours on end for this! Rimuru looked at him and the others confused, why was this a big deal? Well Galahad wasn't bothered but then again he isn't really bothered by anything so it checked out.

Galahad raised his brow, "Why is this....a big deal?" he asked confused, this was the one thing he didn't really get. Ramiris who was sitting on his shouder laughed awkwardly, "Well it isn't supposed to be but.." she pointed at Guy who banged her fist on the table, "It's a matter of dignity!" she shouted in protest, she wasn't going to have no stupid name for them!

Luminous folded her arms and nodded, "Indeed!" she voiced out her agreement with Guy, it was a matter of dignity! Milim nodded her head, "Umu! Umu! Galahad would know too if he wasn't so busy sleeping!" she said folding her arms and leaning back on her chair. Galahad looked at her slightly surprised, since when did she get so brave? "Traitor." he muttered out before slightly chuckling.

"Well we can....let Rimuru do it..." Galahad said raising his hand, Rimuru was the rookie right? So it should be like an initiation or something. With that suggestion Rimuru was trapped, all of them looked towards him making him sweatdrop as he cursed Galahad for getting him caught up in this. "Well do it.....before Guy decides...to rape you." Galahad said yawning, knowing her it was actually possible though he didn't know how it would work.

Rimuru looked at him slack jawed, "Yeah! Wait what?" Guy agreed but then was genuinely confused before she picked up Galahad and threw him away, just because it's true doesn't meant he has to say it out loud! Galahad slightly chuckled and made his way back to his seat completely unbothered but not before chucking some holyfire her way.

Guy ducked under it as a wave of fire passed over head, "Wasn't that holy? The hell is wrong with you?" she asked playfully before sighing and turning towards Rimuru. Rimuru looked at the two and facepalmed, these two really did just throw attacks that could cause mass destruction at each other like they were nothing.

Leon looked at them and shrugged, this was the norm here. Those two clashed no matter what and it was mostly just Guy messing with Galahad who was annoyed by her. He would have helped but he was dissuaded by the fact that maybe that was a type of friendship too, he wouldn't really know.

Luminous looked at Rimuru, "Well then Rimuru is it? Do it." she said raising her brow, no way she was going to sit here and watch them throw around insults and magics. Rimuru looked at her and nodded, he should probably do it before those magics come his way. He looked up in thought connecting the dots in the ceiling before raising his hand, "I've got it! How about the Eight Star Demon Lords, Octagram?" he asked a bit unsure, it was a good name.

Galahad looked at him for a while before nodding, "Fine..." to him names didn't matter much, even though this sounded a bit childish. Ramiris folded her arms and nodded with a wide smile, "That's good! Hey Galahad your friend is good at this!" she said happily thankful that this matter was resolved quickly and peacefully.

Milim looked at them a bit annoyed, "Hey he's my friend too!" she said raising her hands in the air, she wanted to be credited for it too! Guy nodded her head, "Good good, this is nice!" she said smiling, she liked that name too. Dagruel closed his eyes for a few moments, "I suppose, it will do." he said agreeing, it was a good name.

"Fine indeed." Luminous said closing her eyes and nodding wisely, of course she could have come up with it too! Guy stood up and put her hands on the table, "Then it's decided. As of this moment Carrion and Frey are no longer Demon Lords, Rimuru is welcomed to our Council and we will be called the Eight Star Demon Lords, Octagram from now on. Any objections?" she asked looking at everyone on the table before nodding, "Then that concludes this session." she said pulling out a file and writing something down on it before handing it over to a maid, "Then let's party for now." she said clapping her ahands as food was brought in.

Galahad looked at her for a few moments, "What did you.....do?" he asked narrowing his eyes, that was the directive for the Free Guild which had to be delivered to all nations worldwide. Guy smirked, "Oh nothing changed your title is all." she said smirking, she had come up with an even cooler name for him after seeing him inactive for more than a thousand years.

"I hope it's not.....something Chuuni." Galahad muttered out sighing and lazily stood up to get himself some food from the table. "Oh definitely not whatever that is." Guy said noddingher head wisely, yeah it was a very cool name! "What is it? What is it?" Milim asked excitedly flying near them. "Well I changed it to the Sleeping Calamity." she said pouring herself some wine but was decked by Galahad, "That's even more chuuni!" he protested loudly, what is it with her?!

The world was thrown into turmoil. The appearance, name, race, affiliation the little details about the Calamity Lord had come out. Previously, said Demon Lord had been inactive, thought to have been dead or sealed but now he was back in full force.

He had laid waste to the armies of the Western Council that had tried to stop his march and that too with a single motion of his hand. Siltrozzo had fallen and Falmuth was now being invaded by his newly formed Empire, The Roman Empire. Under the leadership of one of his direct subordinates, the Roman Empress Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus and as many had suspected they really were on the warpath.

The world was thrown into turmoil and a state of constant unrest because his armies showed no signs of stopping or going back, with military strength that put them only below the Eastern Empire itself there was no one to stop them. This put every nation at risk of invasion with Dwargon already gearing for war in case they were attacked and Blumund seeking help so that they may at least put up some resistance.

In these times the Demon Lords were the ones to intervene and stop any global conquests but this time the one doing it was a Demon Lord so it was obvious that there was no hope of them intervening any time soon unless the Demon Lord Galahad ended up agitating one of the others which would give the humans some rest.

Though what no one really noticed was that his armies never actually dared to even touch the civilian populace, no innocents were harmed and only the actual armies were killed off and that too was only if they refused to surrender. They provided for the refugees, deaths were compensated and the people were cared for leaving no complaints from the two conquered nations except the fact that their homeland was conquered.

That didn't prevent the world from going into panic mode however. The Demon Lords were existences who stood at the top of this world, they were absolute and humans had no even monsters had no way of even resisting them if they wanted something. According to the new directive two demon lords had stepped down from their seats and the Leader of the Jura Tempest Federation had also been recognized as a Demon Lord once more spreading unrest.

In simpler terms ,the fact that the Lord of Calamity or as he was now called the Sleeping Calamity was back after his disappearance more than a thousand years ago, no one had any way of resisting him as he had already proved any that did were removed from the face of the Earth. The man that some had already thought of as a fairy tale had returned, no one knew his goals or what he wanted giving them no real chance at dissuading or preventing him from attacking them causing turmoil and unrest.

All they had to go by were speculations and all speculations in the end pointed at the fact that he wanted territory for himself. That was very bad news, he had also claimed that now that Clayman was dead Jistarv was his. This put him at odds with the Destroyer Milim Nava but she handed it over no problems or resistance shocking the people once more, the Destroyer had backed down!

So whether they be old or young, man or woman every single sentient being understood two things, One that they weren't getting any rest till he goes back to his slumber and Two that the Calamity Lord wasn't something humans could stand up against.

No one could underestimate him anymore and even the Eastern Empire who didn't even consider him was now on guard against his military might and personal prowess.
