Painful Defeat

Once, Ancient One had also extended an invitation to Tony Stark, hoping that he would explore the mysterious world of magic.

He immediately inquired, "If Tony became the Supreme Sorcerer, then who do you think is more outstanding, him or me?"

The Ancient One, sensing Strange's curiosity, gave a cryptic reply, "The future has changed, Tony, and so have you. Everyone will have the opportunity to surpass their limitations. It depends on your choices and actions."

Strange smiled and said, "True, ever since the arrival of the quiz Game, this world has been constantly changing. Even if Tony becomes the Supreme Sorcerer one day, I wouldn't find it surprising."

The Ancient One teased, "Then you'll have a strong competitor."

As Thanos' advisor, Ebony Maw's analysis was thorough, and Thanos nodded in agreement. "You make a good point. We should pay more attention to these Earthlings. They have gained benefits and enhancements from this strange game. We must be cautious."

Thanos pondered for a moment before saying, "Some of the Earthlings' ideas are worth considering. We should accelerate our research into time-travel technology and complete it as soon as possible!"

Having witnessed his own future defeat, Thanos wasn't stubborn. He had thought it through. In the future of the normal timeline, he would lose to those insignificant Earthlings.

Now that the Avengers had been strengthened by the rewards from the quiz Game, they would be even more challenging to deal with.

In that case, he would change his approach, use time travel to go to other parallel universes, and find easier targets! Since he already knew the details about these Earthlings, he could find a parallel universe unaffected by the quiz Game and capture them easily.

He would use any means necessary to accomplish his goal!
