Chapter 17: The Blade Of Hel

Kanjiro's POV:

I left the docks, I couldn't put my finger on it but Tozuki definitely felt different, maybe prison changed his mentality. I eventually made my way to the *Kaido District* to go back to the dorms, the streets were quiet but many buildings were destroyed.

Kanjiro: What happened?!

I saw a dark figure moving through the destroyed buildings, I quickly chased them to find out who or what it was. I got behind a building, the figure began to grow to...A DRAGON!

Kanjiro: W-Who Are You?!

Dragon: A Human...you don't seem to be an average weak one though.

The Dragon stood on its back legs and roared.

Dragon: I shall grace you with my name before you die, I am Diavolo!

Diavolo shot a fireball toward me, I quickly ducked under it and activated {Sword Transformation}

Kanjiro: Bless My Sword Oh High One, GRAMR!

My sword transformed, the hilt changed into that of a snake and my blade straightened. I thrust my sword forward, causing a shockwave that pushed back Diavolo and destroyed the building behind us.

Diavolo: You seem to be one of the stronger mortals in the realm, you may be able to take care of a low-ranked demon, interesting. However, I am a high-ranking dragon. You stand no chance.

Kanjiro: We'll see about that, come at me!

Diavolo summoned a sword, it was a black Long-Sword with a red eye embedded in the hilt and had a demonic aura. Diavolo shrank into the size and shape of a human, he had black scales and red wings with black edges. His eyes were bright orange with slits down the middle and red claws.

Diavolo: Shall We Dance?

I and Diavolo clashed blades, shockwaves were sent flying through the whole city every time our blades collided. Diavolo tried to swing his sword down and I quickly knocked the blade out of his hands and chopped his head off.

Kanjiro: For a high-ranking general, he's not that strong-

I felt a menacing presence behind me, I turned around just in time to block a forward thrust from...another Diavolo?!

Diavolo: Your senses are sharp, but you are weak.

Diavolo created a red ball of energy and blasted it toward me. I wasn't quick enough to react and got hit right in the chest. I felt a burning sensation, but I pushed threw it and thrust my blade forward, but Diavolo knocked my sword up and slashed at my heart. I moved just in time but he cut me on the shoulder, I realized I couldn't win and began to run away.

Narrators POV:

Kanjiro hid under some rubble, watching Diavolo from a small crack. Kanjiro felt a tap on his back, he quickly turned around and saw Tozuki. Kanjiro sighed heavily and began to calm down.

Kanjiro: Shhhhhh, be quiet

Tozuki: Why are you here?

Kanjiro: Just being chased by a dragon

Tozuki: Oh, I just got done fighting a demon.

Kanjiro: Uh- I, hm, how do I put this...RUN!!!!

Tozuki looked behind him to see Diavolo, both Tozuki and Kanjiro got up from under the rubble and began to run Kanjiro grabbed Tozuki and threw him forward, then kicked off a boulder sending it right into Diavolo.

Tozuki: Oh Sh!t, Oh Sh!t Oh Sh!t, that thing is way stronger than the thing I fought, plus I barely have any Maho left!

Kanjiro: I have a plan, you go left and I'll go right and regroup at the *Atlantia District* Beach!

Tozuki: Alright...

Kanjiro began running to the left and Tozuki ran right, Diavolo then flew into the air and created a massive barrier that surrounded the entire city.

Kanjiro: Damn! Tozuki use that purple-thingy that got you arrested

Tozuki: Do you realize how dumb that sounds?! Also I can't do that at will!

Kanjiro: Well you better learn how to do it quick, because if not we'll be in a hell of a lot of trouble!

Diavolo: Enough bickering, let us dance

Diavolo slowly fell to the ground, watching Tozuki and Kanjiro's movements as they circled him. Kanjiro was the first to make a move as he summoned his Katana and began to power up.

Kanjiro: Split The Heavens And The Earth, EXCALIBUR!

Diavolo: What a cheap parlor trick, your energy isn't even 10% that of mine

Kanjiro: I didn't want to do this...but I'll try

Kanjiro: Burn up in an eternal blaze, ACTIVATE ROYAL FLAMES!

Kanjiro was engulfed in bright hot flames, this is what he had trained for. {Forza Fusion} (aka FF)

Tozuki: This will probably have terrible consequences but I have to try...

Tozuki: False Kinetic

A beam of shiny bronze light shot up into the air, when the light dissipated Tozuki was standing there. His eyes and hair had both become a bronze color with a bright bronze aura and he was slightly more bulky. Diavolo threw a punch at Kanjiro, which was promptly blocked by Tozuki. The punch landed right in Tozuki's stomach, Tozuki flinched before throwing a punch of his own hitting Diavolo in the chin which caused him to stagger.

Diavolo: N-No! That can't be...you cannot dance better than me!

Diavolo yelled in anger, he began to grow and change. His wings were no longer there, he was around 100 feet tall, he had black scales with purple eyes, horns and long teeth. Kanjiro's sword was engulfed in flame, he raised his sword above his head and brought it down, cutting through a small portion of Diavolo's forehead.

A/N = 50 feet tall is nearly 10x the size of an average human, so 100 feet is roughly 20x or something like that.

Diavolo: This is...a gift from the king! I win, I win, I win!

Diavolo moved at break-neck speeds and slapped Kanjiro into the ground, and was caught by Tozuki before he hit the ground.

Tozuki: From now on, I'll cover you so don't worry about getting hit and just attack, don't hold back.

Kanjiro: Let's do this!

Kanjiro and Tozuki simultaneously jumped into the air, Kanjiro rapidly sliced Diavolo's arm. Diavolo swung his hand around causing Kanjiro to push off his arm, creating a Maho platform and jumping from it reaching Diavolo's head.

Kanjiro: I Shall Set My Heart Ablaze!

Kanjiro sliced through Diavolo's head, cutting through his skin, not noticing what was coming. Diavolo summoned a giant boulder and dropped it above Kanjiro, which Tozuki quickly blocked with a punch. Tozuki jumped off Diavolo's head and flipped onto his face, kicking his left eye which made him more enraged.

Diavolo: YOU TWO...CHILDREN ARE NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO HANDLE MY POWER!

Diavolo shot an eye beam that knocked Tozuki to the ground, and sent fire out from his head, which Kanjiro barely avoided. Diavolo began to shake his head and Kanjiro eventually fell to the ground, both Tozuki and Kanjiro were panting heavily with little to no Maho left.

Kanjiro: W-Well I guess this is the end for us, heh.

Tozuki: No. One Last Attack.

Kanjiro: We could try, our final stand!

Kanjiro and Tozuki held there arms back, they gathered all there Maho into the palm of there hands and released it all at once.

Tozuki & Kanjiro: KINETIC BLAZING BURST!

A beam of fire with a silver aura engulfing it was shot directly at Diavolo, who tried to use an attack of his own.

Diavolo: IT'S NO USE! DRACONIC EYE BEAM!

Diavolo shot a dark purple beam from his left eye, the 2 beams clashed and Diavolo's eye beam was quickly taking over, until Tozuki...changed. The purple goo came from his leg, surrounding his entire body. The silver aura disappeared as Tozuki was then in a new golden aura along the fire, the fire beam overtook Diavolo as it swallowed his eye beam and Diavolo was burnt to a crisp.

Kanjiro: We did it! Yeah! That was epic, right Tozuki?

Kanjiro: Tozuki?

Kanjiro turned around, his face was horrified with what he saw.
