After the bail was paid and a quick call to the bar owner, charges were dropped, and Roman's mother ensured that her son and his friends would pay for any damages. Good thing too because she was at her wit's end. The sun was up, and they hadn't slept in over 24 hours.
As Roman, Luke, and Anton strolled out of the jail, high-fiving inmates and officers as they went, they stopped in their tracks when they saw the lobby full of women who had just posted their bail.
"Oh, shit." Anton cringed as he pointed to Roman and Luke and said, "They did it!"
"What? You rat!" Roman grumbled. "Momma, I didn't…"
"Roman, I don't want to hear it. You three are grown men acting like children. I am tired and not in the mood to deal with you. Get in the car."
"Yes, mother."
Antoni quickly caught up to the older women. "Sorry, Momma D'Amico."
