"Father, can I go out later?" Rosina asked while they were eating dinner. It was already 7:00 in the evening.
"No! You will still follow the rules in this house. You can't leave your room after 8:00 at night!" Cleto yelled and landed a punch on the table, making her mom flinch from shock.
"I understand, father," Rosina whispered and took a bite of her chicken breast.
Rosina's eyes glided towards her mother, who was trying to act delicate and beautiful at the dining table, but the crappy make-up on her face was so thick merely to hide the bruises and cuts from the recent beating.
Across the table was his brother. A man to be the next Alpha after Cleto retired from the hierarchy.
"You look great, older sis," Rico complimented and raised his eyebrows at Rosina. "You will get a lot of men with that face."
"If she won't find a decent mate, she must marry someone with power and money. To be useful even just this once," Cleto stated harshly and aggressively took a bite of his meat.
Rosina took a deep breath to calm down. All she did was smile and agree with what they decided for her, as if she was a doll to be sold and decorated with no brain to determine what she wanted to do with her life.
After eating, Rosina returned to her room and looked at her reflection in the old mirror. It didn't take long before she heard the door being locked from the outside.
Rosina was used to it. Her father always locked her door to prevent her from meddling with the opposite sex. They wanted her to be pure like water, but water can also be tainted.
Rosina watched the clock strike 10:00. She wore her black robe and placed the hood to cover her face, blending into the darkness.
In Rosina's pocket was the spare key to her room. She had stolen it before she left the pack three years ago.
Rosina inserted the key into the double lock inside her room and softly rotated it before hearing a soft click. She opened the door slowly to make sure no sound could be heard.
The Palecrest pack always clung to their rules that by 9:00 every evening, all wolves should be in their rooms, and no one was allowed to go outside except the warrior wolves, who were the ones that were guarding the pack against sudden attacks.
Rosina went out of the pack house using the back door and in to the northern forest. That area was filled with thick high trees that prevented the moonlight from getting through, making the forest extremely dark at night.
Rosina massaged her face again after reaching the forest entrance to freshen up her ignorant look. She walked inside while heightening her senses. It didn't take long before she heard small steps from behind.
After a few seconds, a hand covered her eyes. "Who am I?"
Rosina flinched and giggled naively. "Emilio?"
"You guessed it right, baby," Emilio chuckled and forcefully turned Rosina around and kissed her lips without permission.
Rosina blinked twice before letting Emilio have his way with her while she stood there with a knowing look. After all, she knew what would happen before the meet-up.
Emilio removed Rosina's cloak and was about to rip her clothes when she stopped him. Her hands went up to his cheeks while ensuring their eyes met.
Both smiled at each other while Emilio pushed Rosina against the tree trunk and started kissing her neck.
Rosina rolled her eyes. She didn't have the time to play around since she was tired from the travel and wanted to sleep for the night. Rosina pulled Emilio's hair and aggressively kissed him.
At first, it gave Emilio the pleasure he wanted, but then, his lust turned to silent screams when Rosina bit his lips until it bled.
Rosina didn't let go of him, no matter how Emilio tried to push her away. She kissed him deeper while playing with his tongue before biting it and pulling it out, ripping his tongue in half.
Emilio screamed, but it was muffled by the blood that gushed out of his mouth. His eyes shook upon looking at Rosina spitting his tongue on the grass.
Rosina took a few slow steps before holding Emilio's head. One of her eyes glowed a bright shade of green, a power to stop Emilio from communicating through the mind link and asking for help.
"You poor thing," Rosina whispered while laughing like a maniac. She knows why Emilio chose that place even though it was dangerous at night because no one could hear the sound they would make, whether it was moaning or screaming.
Emilio pushed Rosina, tried to stand up and ran away but was pulled back and aggressively thrown to the ground. He tried to shift into his wolf form to escape, but a force prevented him from doing so.
"You're a pack warrior, yet you can't beat me?" Rosina stated with a giggle as she broke one of Emilio's arms. Hearing the sound of bones breaking filled Rosina with psychological pleasure.
"More. I want to hear more!"
Rosina kicked Emilio's head forcefully, making his body fly and land on a tree. Taking that advantage, Emilio hurriedly ran away while holding his broken arm.
At that point, Emilio felt like he was prey being chased by a predator. He felt Rosina's presence behind his back, and her soft giggles were traumatizing to hear.
Emilio's head turned around and looked for Rosina, but there was no sight of her. A sigh of relief issued out of his bloody mouth. Emilio thought that he had finally lost her, but when he turned around, a face he dreaded seeing was smiling at him with sharp and pointy teeth.
"Are you lost, baby boy?" Rosina seductively asked. She grabbed Emilio's neck and threw him against the tree.
Emilio landed with a loud thud. His body was in extreme pain, making it hard for him to move a muscle.
