Chapter 12 - Chance meeting.

In the middle of Yahiko Valley, the leader of Akatsuki and Hanzō, the head of the Hidden Rain Village, stood face to face and had a conversation, the atmosphere around them seemed to be very peaceful.

"I have been following your activities since your organization started its activities near Hidden Rain Village. I largely agree with your philosophy, this is one of the main reasons why I am here today." Hanzo said with admiration in his voice, looking at Yahiko and the others.

Hearing Hanzo words, Yahiko felt happy and said with a wide smile, "I'm glad to hear that Hanzō-sama, with your support, our dream will be much easier to achieve. When we're done, pain and suffering will be gone from this world forever!!!"

Hanzō laughed out loud in response, as if he was encouraged by Yahiko's speech. But only Hanzo himself knew that, in fact, he was laughing at the naivety of this group. The moment Yahiko turned away, a cold light flashed in Hanzo eyes, and he secretly gestured for the start of the operation. Before Yahiko and Nagato could react, they were attacked by two shinobi from their organization. Konan was also attacked, but still managed to dodge in time, unfortunately, someone more terrible than an ordinary shinobi was already waiting for her, Hanzo Salamander himself was already standing behind the girl. Without further ado, Hanzo grabbed Konan by the neck and quickly moved to the high ground.

Appearing on the high ground, Hanzo still tightly gripping the girl's neck slightly lifted her up and with eyes full of cruelty, looked in the direction of Nagato and Yahiko.

At the same time, in another place, Yusuke was secretly following Danzo and his men from afar. All this time, he had a feeling of growing anxiety and that someone was watching him.

Not far from Yuusuke, at the top of a mountain peak, stood two figures in black cloaks. The face of one figure was hidden by a white mask with black lines, showing only the right eye, with a blood-colored pupil and three tomoe on it. That figure was none other than Obito Uchiha, who, along with Zetsu, was secretly watching Akatsuki, and more specifically, Nagato.

"What is this guy doing here?" Obito suddenly muttered as he looked at the figure of Yusuke running far behind Danzo and his group.

"Your friend?" asked Black Zetsu, standing next to him. Now, he was arriving in his black and white state, having merged with White Zetsu. No one knew yet that this absolutely black creature was the most powerful and insidious creature in the world. For many centuries it has changed the course of history at its own discretion, wanting to free its mother from imprisonment on the moon.

"Not really, more like an opponent, I always dreamed of surpassing him, but in the past I didn't have that opportunity. But, today, I feel lucky, since this idiot is here, it will be the day of his fall in front of me!" Obito replied in a confident voice with anticipation in his eyes.

"Now is the critical moment, no matter what it takes to get Nagato to summon the golem, so it's best if you don't do something that is not part of our plan!" Zetsu warned him.

"Don't worry, had it been earlier, it might have meant something, but now I need five, no, three minutes to deal with this trash!!" Obito replied with a contemptuous snort, and without waiting for the interlocutor's answer, activated the power of the eye, and disappeared into a spatial whirlwind.

Yusuke was still moving forward when he suddenly felt the vibrations of space in front of him. He immediately stopped in place, alert. A few meters away from him, the space suddenly swirled until it eventually turned into a figure wearing a black cloak and mask with a single slit for an eye.

The appearance of this person in this place came as a shock even to Yusuke, who, for the most part, always remained calm. Obito, who was standing in front of Yusuke at that moment, noticed the shock in his eyes and was very pleased with such a reaction. There was a time when he pursued this genius of the Uchiha clan, and challenged him many times to duel, unfortunately for him, they all ended in a crushing defeat, but today, everything will be different.

But how much Obito knew, Yusuke's shock was caused not by his appearance or sudden appearance, but by the very fact of his presence. Although Yusuke did not remember and even forgot many details of the plot of the original story, he could not forget about things related to the iconic character who would appear throughout the story. Thinking about Obito who had suddenly appeared here, Yuusuke finally began to guess at Danzo and Hanzo goals.

"Who are you and what do you need?" Yuusuke asked, not wanting to let the other side know that he knew the truth.

"As usual, everyone is also calm and collected," Obito said with a grin, leaving Yuusuke's question unanswered. Meanwhile, Yuusuke inwardly rolled his eyes at Obito's attempts to make himself mysterious.

Looking at Yuusuke who didn't react to his words, Obito got a little angry, but after remembering his strength and the upcoming scene, he quickly calmed down. Not that he was a petty person and held a grudge against Yusuke. Simply, he always wanted to surpass him and prove to the others that he was Obito Uchiha, the true genius of the Uchiha clan!

Looking at Yusuke, who was next to him after the blow, Obito did not see the slightest bit of surprise in his opponent's eyes. This surprised him a little, as in the past, when his enemies saw his strength, they were greatly shocked, after which they began to panic, he was already addicted to such expressions of despair on the faces of his enemies and loved to watch them.

"But it doesn't matter, today, you Uchiha Yuusuke will definitely fall!" Beneath his mask, Obito revealed a cruel smile.
