Chapter 32...Nostalgia

I have collected a total of 95 travel points and the new year is just around the corner, although there is no visible danger, but I feel like I need to rush things,I don't even know if it's because of the Evolved senses skill or just my own gut feelings.

Though today I am in no rush,I figured it's time I take a little break from all that grinding and see the city and stuff.

You guessed it,although I know the ins and outs of this city, I have never really seen it with a relaxed mindset, always in a grinding mindset. never really resting properly.

So when I heard that there is going to be a festival in the city, I decided to see what the hype was about.

"Robin-sama is also going to the festival!" I heard the excited voice of my former employee as she looked at me.

"Yeah, I wanna see what all the hype is about, I figured it's time that I take some break" I replied.

I also haven't gone back to Hage village ever since then, and I am not gonna go, although I want to run back with every fibre of my being, if anyone is alive, then I will get in trouble, the same goes for the people in Hage village.

Yoru is not someone I can trust, magic knights aren't all black and white, I have gone through so many experiences and have always been deceived.

"That's great! oh we need to get you readied up for the festival, Robin-sama"

She said excitedly, she has grown much more comfortable with me, and I don't know the reason for this sudden change in her

Before I could object, I was already standing in front of our large mirror as she put various dresses on me.

Night time came and the city was filled with a festive mood, everyone was dressed to the best of their abilities. various food stalls were set up and people had a good time.

They say the atmosphere that you stay in will shape you, and they couldn't be more right, I could already feel myself loosening up as I blended among the others

"Oh! if it isn't the loner of our city"

"Hmm!" I turned around, finding myself face to face with several merchants, people I know and traded with now and them.

"I am not sure about that," I said, giving an awkward smile, they didn't have to call me out like that

"Haha, don't beat yourself up over what they say, we are surprised to see you enjoying, you are always coming and going, what's the rush, you already have such a nice business, learn to enjoy a little" Zion, the guy said to me, offering me a glass of whatever he was drinking

"I guess so" I replied.

Though it seemed like Momo was back, Zion gave me a look and went away, I sighed at his gesture

"What were they talking about?" She asked me, with two kebab sticks in her hands

"Nothing, just giving me a hard time" I replied, taking one from her hands.

"Hmm, I won't give them a discount the next time they come over" she replied, giving a cute pout

"Haha! you don't have to do that, we were just joking around" I lightly told her.

Though I feel like she might still do something, I guess I have earned her trust all this time. Looking at her, I miss the kids back home.

'I am so strong...wouldn't hurt to check up on them, maybe go and meet them secretly, sigh'

I don't know how, but Momo understood my mood rather perfectly, she put a hand on my shoulder.

"Robin-sama, whatever it is you are going through, I hope you can achieve what you want, if you need any help, tell me," she said to me.

Her eyes were filled with concern for me, I couldn't help but tear up a little, it's been hard on me, when was the last time someone showed concern for me

I quickly wiped the tears from my eyes, "It's nothing, I am just missing home"

"Hmm"

"Let's go, there seems to be something going on over at that place"

It was a dance performance, something about how a magic knight saved this city and fell in love with a maiden and whatever.

I just enjoyed the theatrical, most of these love stories might be nothing but the imagination of the commoners or the manipulation of a noble.

I promptly ignored the lovestruck gaze of Momo, I am a minor so it's bad , beside...

I couldn't help but look at little Robin....

Sigh, maybe once I turn into a teenager or whatever....little robin is still sleeping.
