Finally Saved

Rosie rubbed her face. The dark circles around her eyes were clearly visible. Even though at night, she had just eaten with Aslan and joked around a little in the middle of the road when the man carried her to the inn. 

Who would have thought that Howland was also there? Rosie should have stopped Aslan looking for Savannah that suddenly disappeared in the crowd of the market. If only Aslan didn't go to look for the woman, then perhaps he would have been with her at the clinic and the Angaria Knights wouldn't see him. Aslan also wouldn't be so badly injured like this either. 

If they had stayed in the clinic for a few moments, Howland might have left Torao without crossing paths and injuring his husband. Rosie could only imagine the possibility without doing anything at all.
