Rosie's Feeling

"I'm sad? When?" Rosie asked, pretending not to know what Nicholas meant.

"Earlier. When you're in the rain, you cry, right? You're deliberately hiding in the rain because you want to wash away your tears with the rain, right?" Nicholas asked, much to Rosie's surprise. 

Rosie was surprised because the man seemed to be able to read everything she was thinking and doing. Rosie was silent and didn't continue to eat. Then, she slowly put her food away. Maybe it was because she and Nicholas had so much in common that the man could understand what Rosie was feeling and doing.

She grabbed a glass of water and drank it down slowly. Perhaps it was time for her to talk about her feelings for Aslan, and why she wasn't ready to marry Nicholas yet.

"Nicholas, do you have a woman you like?"

Nicholas frowned in confusion. "The woman I like? Hm… I think there is," he replied.

"Oh yes? Do you love her?"
