"Are there any factions already in place?" he asked, his tone calm and measured.
Zoan softly shook his head. "Not yet that I am aware of. No one wants to be the first to establish a faction, as it could make them the target of all the others."
Cain nodded as it made sense. There were a lot of things he needed to consider. First and foremost, his power was far from enough to establish a faction. Core Elders wielded the power of Peak Divine Transcendence Life Forms, a realm he was still far from achieving. As someone who disliked working hard only for others to reap the benefits, Cain saw no immediate advantage in joining any faction prematurely.
