Drown

Blair and Cadmus joined Hershey, Colt, and the others again after building their sandcastles. 

They all ate some barbeque together, had fun taking dips in the water, and then went off their separate ways. Sometime before sunset, Cadmus and Blair changed out of their swimsuits and went for a stroll. They made their way to the mountain near the beach, taking pleasure in the lush forestry and cool wind.

The path led them to a lake, and they were both immediately reminded of their camping trip. There, the sun was rising higher in the sky, the air getting warmer. The earth beneath them faded from gravel into smooth, pale sand as they walked. They wandered around the lakeside, hand in hand.

"What?" asked Blair when Cadmus stopped mid-step out of nowhere.
