"Nice," Ray sighed drowsily as he lay down on the ground.
"The boss of this dungeon would be a piece of cake for me. Next is my evolution. Then, I will become even stronger," Ray smiled, exhausted.
Ray woke up after some hours of sleep. He stood up and rubbed the sleep from his eyes.
"I fell asleep...."
He looked at his surroundings and remembered he was still in a dungeon. How careless of him to fall asleep in a dungeon full of monsters.
He stood up and picked up his weapon. Then, stretching his body, he moved towards the door, unafraid of what he would find inside.
He opened the door and entered the room. To his surprise, there was nothing inside the room. He carefully scanned around the room. It was larger than the one he came from, his eyes darted around, and he spotted two creatures lying down, seemingly dead.
Carefully walking towards them, he could identify the corpses as human.
"So there are humans here too," Ray wondered as he looked at the dead bodies.
They looked like warriors because of their clothing and weapon.
"Clothes," Ray said as he reached down to one of the corpses.
Turning the bodies, he discovered that they were slashed in their necks, and the other was stabbed in the stomach. The wounds were still fresh, meaning it hadn't been long,
"Those stupid orcs did this," Ray said, clearly angry. He took off the clothes of the one who got cut in the neck.
"Forgive me, but you are already dead," Ray mumbled as he put on the clothes. Luckily the clothes fit pretty well regardless of his height, and there was space to keep weapons on his waist, but his spears were too long in their current form, so they wouldn't fit.
Ray looked at his spears, trying to figure out how to make them smaller so they could fit.
"System, how do I make my spears smaller?" Ray asked.
The system didn't answer.
Ray held the spear and was hitting it on the ground for it to shrink, but it didn't.
"Blood spears shrink," Ray shouted in anger, and immediately the spear shrank to its former small size.
"Huh! why did it?" Ray was surprised and immediately shouted again.
"Blood spears increase," and they increase in size to a regular spear.
"So it follows my word, hmm, an advantage of synchronization probably," Ray said happily.
He made the spears small again to stash on his waist. After that, he looked back at the humans and wondered:
"What are humans even doing down here in a dungeon?"
Trying to find answers, he rummaged through the human's bags and found one orc crystal.
"That explains everything. They were probably here to collect crystals and encountered a group of three like me."
"Likely, they only managed to kill one before the others killed them," Ray concluded and stood up.
"But if they are really here to collect beast crystal, I should be close to a human village."
Ray wondered as he looked for an exit instead of a door. He found a switch on the side of the wall. He walked towards the wall and pulled it down.
A scratching sound was made as the wall near the switch formed a door and opened upwards. The room it led to was small in size, without another door. His eyes darted around the room, looking for anything useful to him.
His eyes came across someone, a human shaking with his head bowed down,
"Hey there," Ray said to get the man's attention.
Hearing a voice, the man opened his eyes, looked towards the source, and saw Ray. Seeing the humanoid cat, the man immediately sprung up and picked up his sword.
"I don't want to hurt you," Ray assured the man, surprised by the reaction.
"High-level beast," the man stuttered as he rushed toward the monster. Seeing the man rushing at him, Ray quickly ran out of the small room into the larger one.
'High-level beast, what does that mean?' Ray thought as the man came out of the room, he was sweating, and Ray could see that he was afraid as his legs were slightly shaking.
"I don't want to hurt you," Ray tried to reassure the afraid human and de-escalate the situation.
"Lies" the man shouted and wanted to charge toward Ray when another door in the wall at the far end from where they were standing opened.
Five goblins entered the large room and found Ray and the human, they stood there and said something to themselves, but Ray didn't understand it.
The goblins each held a sword, except the middle one, which had two. The middle one pointed one sword at Ray and the other at the human.
Putchi!
The goblin in the middle was now pinned to the wall with a spear in his head. The goblins were shocked at what happened and looked at who threw the spear.
"Easy peasy," Ray said as his spear appeared back in his hands, and the goblin fell down to the ground.

The goblins charged toward Ray and the human, two of the goblins ran toward Ray, and the other two faced the human.
Ray ran towards the goblin and threw his short spear again, but this time the goblin dodged the spear, and Ray smiled.
A slash with the second spear decapitated the goblin letting its head roll freely on the ground. Initially, Ray threw the two spears one after the other because he was sure the goblin would dodge them.

Ray ignored the system prompt as his spears reappeared again in his hands. The second goblin was now close to him. He slashed with his spear. The goblin saw that the spear was too short so it wouldn't touch him and kept running forward.
Smiling, Ray muttered something, and his blood spear increased in length, slashing off the head of the goblin in the process.

Clang! Clang! Clang!
The sounds of swords clashing made Ray look to the other side and saw the human battling against the two goblins.
Ray dashed forward and slashed the head of the two goblins at once, making the human fall down to the ground.

The prompt dinged in his head, and Ray was pleased with his strength.
"I told you I don't want to hurt you" Ray said to the human. Now that Ray looked at him closely he saw the screen appeared.
