Same face, different story

"Alright, people. Calm down and eat first. Your boss's husband." Adam was smiling from ear to ear. "Adam, Adam Crowell."

There was a long silence, but after a second, Rex pulled out his gun and pointed it at Adam. Maddison and Maoi jumped and stood protectively around Luca. Lizz and Mako's eyes turned red, hissing, fangs out. 

"Okay…?" Adam awkwardly raised his hands to his shoulder level.

"Why is this man here?" Mako hissed but didn't make a move. 

"This guy… what is he doing here?" Lizz added while cautiously observing Adam. 

"I just told you." Adam cocked his head to the side. "This is my home."

"Bull —!" 

"Enough." Luca pinched the bridge of her nose, stopping Mako from going berserk. "God… are you all insane or what?"
