1.8 First kiss

Huang entered the dining room and took a seat at the head of the table. He filled his plate and started to eat. He looked up from his plate when Yuxin asked:

"Father, when do you think you'll send Cillian to the asylum?"

"If King hadn't invited him to the gala he would've been gone already."

Shuyi said:

"It's a good thing he isn't now we are part of the inner circle. I have an idea so we can have dinner at the castle tonight."

Huang looked at his wife excitedly.

"What is it?"

"Since King used the excuse of Cillian being sick to have him checked by a lawyer so he can be under your tutelage we'll go there tonight with a soup to say that we wanted to check on him."

Huang smiled.

"That's perfect like that I'll be able to speak with King alone and talk to him about my idea to make us permanent partners since the company will be mine."

Yuxin asked:

"Why do you even have to use King's lawyer when you have Cillian and Xiang Kai's sex tape?"

"I don't but it gives me a reason to get closer to King since he seems willing to help me. Tonight when Cillian comes back home I'll make him sign all his inheritance away."

He was going to put Cillian under his tutelage using the file the psychiatrist has built over the years but now that he has the sex tape he'll just blackmail him. He knows he'll gladly sign everything away then he'll toss him in that nut house.

Shuyi asked:

"Do you have the file from the psychiatrist?"

"No, we have to meet tomorrow. He'll have a friend who is an assistant worker from the asylum come and he'll take care of everything so Cillian can be out of the house that very night."

Shuyi and Yuxin smiled. It's finally just going to be the family at the house.

Cillian walked out of the car and looked at all the stores. His two assistants were behind him, they both looked down when they heard the sound of something falling. When they couldn't see anything one of them asked:

"Did you drop something?"

Cillian shook his head and walked to the first store. He glanced a the ground with a malicious smile.

Cillian spent the next five hours shopping and ate lunch at a restaurant. He checked Bloom and decided to leave. As they walked out of the store after paying they heard a commotion in the building next door. A lot of people had stopped and were looking at what the police were doing. Cillian walked slower to the car looking curiously like everybody else.

When he reached the car he stopped and saw a man in handcuffs shoved in one of the police cars. They were other officers loading a lot of boxes with files in them in the cars. Cillian got in the car and once it moved Bloom who had seen the scene as well asked:

*Master, how did you do this?*

Cillian leaned back and after closing his eyes he explained:

*Dr. Wen has made it a career to create false medical records thanks to my godfather. Huang chose him because he knew Dr.Wen would do anything for money. He created me a fake medical history and years of fake treatment and Huang paid him and brought him more clients who needed the same. When I entered this world I sent all the information I had to the police and they started an investigation but they didn't have enough for a search warrant until today. He was bound to be arrested once they found all his falsified medical records."

Most of Dr.Wen's fake medical records were handwritten so he could only get so much from hacking his computer. He just wanted to give a heads up to the police but he knew he had to lead them to one of his victims to get a search warrant so they would be able to get all the evidence they would need to prosecute him.

He had to use one of Bloom's many phantoms breacher so he would have access to the external server to know in which center the victim was, that is why he decided to shop here. The information he found allowed them to meet Xie Tong's wife who was put in an asylum by Dr.Wen after he caught her cheating.

He is one of the members of the board of directors of Li Media and he happened to be a friend of Huang. When he told him how furious he was that she cheated on him and that he wanted to get revenge Huang introduced him to Dr.Wen and used the same thing he did to the original, he had her locked up with years of fake medical records.

The worst in all of this is that Xie Tong's wife didn't cheat on him, they were separated but he refused to sign the divorce papers after he was caught multiple times cheating on her. At least now she's free and so will all of Dr.Wen's victims. And that's a very large number.

That horrid man would accept anything as long as he was paid generously. Plus it allows him to get rid of Xie Tong that son of a bitch. He was friends with the original's father and yet he knew full well what Huang was doing but couldn't care less. He's going to spend a lot of years in jail that's for sure.

When Cillian arrived at the castle he went to his room and used his computer for a few hours working. When he heard a familiar voice call his name he immediately closed the computer and stood up. King opened the door and entered with a smile. Cillian walked to him with the same smile but he abruptly stopped in place and his cheeks flushed when he realized he looked too eager.

He can't help it, the original would never have a good night of sleep and go out to do whatever he wanted. So having that good day and then having King happy to see him makes him feel giddy. His "family" was never happy to see him but King always is.

He looked down and King walked to him with a gentle smile. He lifted his chin and asked:

"Did you have a fun day?"

Cillian met his eyes and nodded. King could tell he felt shy and his heart melted. How can he be so sweet? He caressed his cheek and said after lacing their hands:

"Let's go eat your family is joining us they came to check on you."

Cillian looked behind him and saw that they were his assistants and two guards. He followed King to the elevator in silence.

Once the doors closed and it was just the two of them he pulled his hand away and said looking ahead:

"Stop calling them my family I don't like it."

Obviously, he doesn't know what it's like to have a family since he never had one but he's pretty sure family doesn't abuse you mentally and physically.

When he sees the memories the original had with his father compared to his situation it makes his heart ache like he's the one who went through it. When King refers to Huang, Shuyi, and Yuxin as his family it feels like a punch to the gut. King looked at Cillian's profile and pushed a button.

The elevator stopped and when he didn't turn to look at him King stood in front of him. Cillian looked at him expressionlessly.

"I won't anymore I promise."

Cillian simply nodded and looked away. King turned his head and kissed his forehead.

Cillian met his eyes and couldn't stop himself from asking:

"Why do you always do that?"

King could tell that Cillian wasn't bothered but curious.

"Because the moment I laid eyes on you I wanted to keep you at my side and always protect you. So every time I kiss your forehead think of it as a promise to never leave you and always have your back."

Cillian blinked, he didn't know what to say or do for that matter. His cheeks flushed and he looked away again. His heartbeat was out of control and he couldn't understand what was wrong with him. Why does he feel like he is increasingly more nervous and shy around King?

He just messed with his head a little yesterday but him sensing his soul's essence means nothing. King pushed the button and the elevator moved again. His eyes never left Cillian like he couldn't bear to look away for just a second. Just before the doors opened he turned his head and gave him a peck.

He felt Cillian stiffen and looked at him wide-eyed. His eyes softened and he grabbed his hand to pull him to the dining room since he looked frozen in shock.

Cillian finally woke up from his stupor when he heard voices coming out of the dining room.

That shameless tofu-eater dared to kiss him. He's getting way too comfortable. Despite thinking that his cheeks were flushed and he felt like hiding. He's never kissed or been kissed. Before they entered the dining room he let go of King's hand. He looked away when he saw the disappointment in his eyes.
