Sunrise

Cora remained on the elevated ground alone, staring at the place where the mysterious dimension walker disappeared just as quickly as he had come. What he described was nothing she had ever heard of. Walking the dimensions…? Creating balance…? And she was supposedly like him as well? What did that mean for her future? What did that mean for her and Theo?

The fire and water fae had both disappeared now that everything was calm, and she looked around wondering where they had disappeared to as well. She did not have the chance to thank any of them for their help. The Camazotz were gone. Ambrosia and the other leaders were gone. All of the immediate threats in Gray Vale had disappeared, and that meant… that meant that she was free. Was that truly possible? Could she just… leave? 

"Cora!" Theo called up to her, making her heart race with the sound of his voice and the memory of everything that had just occurred.
