Chapter 180: The Tracking

Dominick arrived home late at night and was exhausted and lonely, knowing Viona wasn't at home. He bathed and asked Alfred to tell the cook to prepare the late dinner. Dominick ate alone and wondered if he should visit Viona tomorrow. Maybe he would talk with Nick and Lilly, so they could come with him to the Ferocious Pack. 

He grinned while sipping the wine. It was a brilliant idea. Cecily had already met Viona, but an adult might not be as persistent as two pups. However, Lilly wasn't quite a pup, as she was twelve. Yet as Viona's children, Nick and Lilly might move Viona's heart better than Cecily. 

After finishing the dinner, Dominick walked without sound to Nick's room. His son was asleep already. Dominick smiled to see his son. Nick grew more like him each year in how he walked and talked. Finally, he bent forward to kiss Nick's forehead and left the room.
