Meanwhile, John discussed the next battle target. This time, he finally chose the Moon Band pack. After three years, John had conquered 20 packs already. He had approximately 1,000 pack members, and 700 of those were adult werewolves. They were ready to fight with him in any battle. 

John's called Alpha King. His people loved him, and his enemies trembled to hear his name but also respected him. Dominick Haynes was the only one still exceeding John's popularity or the number of men. Dominick had at least 10 thousand rogues in his pack, and half of the number were mighty warriors. 

John finally chose the Moon Band pack because he never forgot his purpose: to avenge Sophia's death. Therefore, he gathered fifty of his men. Forty of them are the Alphas and Betas for the twenty packs under John. John, Daniel, and Killian carefully chose the remaining ten people. Rupert was one of those ten.
