Backstory 1: It Ain’t an Easy Decision

Although Giselda and Zealous had been mates for three years, she wasn't yet pregnant. It worried her but having Lilly as her sister helped ease her longing for a pup. Giselda and Zealous sometimes spoiled Lilly, but fortunately, the pup didn't grow into a spoiled brat.

One day after Giselda and Zealous mated, Giselda lay beside her husband. She looked at the ceiling and let out a sigh.

"Tired?" Zealous asked, grinning as he kissed her lips. 

"No, I'm just thinking."

"Hm? About what?"

"About our pup. Why doesn't Magna give us a pup yet? What's wrong with me?" Giselda shut her eyes as it hurt so much whenever she saw she-wolves of her age, even younger than her, already had a pup, even two or three pups.

"Nothing's wrong with you, my love. You are the prettiest, kindest, and most adorable woman I have ever known." Then Zealous pulled Giselda to his embrace. "What if there's something wrong with me?"
