"Silas?" I called out, walking back in the direction I came in.
I swore he was right behind me, he had even sneezed when I ran into the field.
"Silas," I shouted louder in a sing-song.
Still no reply.
"Host, I'm detecting dangerous people," System warned, drawing my attention to the direction in front of me.
Instead of running away, I ran towards them. Silas was right here, so there was a big chance he was where the danger was.
Six large men hovered over Silas' sleeping body. Win was nowhere to be seen.
All six heads turned to face me as I stumbled to a stop.
Uncaring if they saw, I brought a short sword out of my space and went into stance. Selena had been trained in using both hot and cold weapons alongside all the others.
Over the years I had continued to train with the sword, feeling it the most comfortable.
Not bothering to negotiate, two of the men rushed forward, drawing their own swords to attack me.
