Mision Part 4

Wind tracking.

At the end of the second command, fresh winds built up based on a transparent spiritual power. The wind that swept Heinz's body for a moment seemed to flow along with the tiny response of the ground sensing.

The wind was directed based on the ground information given by the ground sensing.

"I'm glad you're heading north."

"If you had gone along the forest trail, you wouldn't be able to track these two spells."

If the attackers had used the forest path, it would have been difficult to track them even if they mixed the two magic tricks. The forest was so rich with trees and life that detection was nearly impossible.

Heinz cast a spell.

Simultaneous casting consumes extreme mana, and if any of them are mages they can discover the trail.

They haven't gone far yet.

Running for about an hour, the traces of the raiders began to appear one by one. Broken grass or footprints were identified.

As soon as I was about to look at the tracks and start moving again, Heinz stopped in surprise.

When I carefully examined the direction of his progress, the tracks slowed down.

Phew!

An arrow flew through the grass. After Heinz easily avoided the arrow, he pointed the sword at where it had flown.

There were people. Some raiders dug in and prepared for the cadets' pursuit.

"As expected from the Anthos Instructor! You have a good body. I can see why the boss had to put me in this place to stop you."

"Head! That guy dodged the arrow."

Three masked men slipped out of the den.

They seemed to have set up an ambush as soon as they saw Heinz in the cave. Whether Heinz would avoid the arrow they secretly shot was only a test because they were confident in his strength.

A man called chief pulled out a golden sword and rattled it with his fingers.

"You must be excited."

The man who pulled out a gold sword smiled. Until then, Heinz had been watching them silently.

They were made up of two sworders and a sorcerer.

"They're not strong enough to sense my aura."

"I guess the three of them are five or six stars."

Heinz's calmness and his silence seemed to them to be frightening the assailants.

"Don't worry too much."

"I don't have a penchant for deliberately killing people painfully. It will soon be over."

"But why is there only one? Where did you sell the others?

"Maybe those fools who stayed are dead."

"Those fools you speak of. One has a scar and the other looks like a beggar?"

When Heinz opened his mouth for the first time, three men burst out laughing.

"Khaha, I knew it, those guys are dead."

"It's going to be pretty ridiculous for the others to hear this later."

But one man wasn't smiling.

"How do you know what they look like?"

"Looking, I took off their mask and checked, so you know."

"They were fighting with my students."

The laughter in the men's eyes was gone. Heinz still had an expressionless face, pointing lightly with the sword.

"Don't be pretentious."

"They're four-star gentlemen. The level where a beginning student at Anthos can't."

"Does your Black even admit to being a thug?"

"It's a little different from the mercenaries I thought they are."

"Look around. I guess it wasn't just the kids."

"There'll be another Instructor!"

The men didn't believe Heinz had killed Sharp and Greg. No matter how much Anthos might be it was beyond their imagination that a student who hadn't even developed would handle two four-star knights.

What these people don't know was that this was a mission set by Duchess Dalia herself for the next Heir of the Duchy to select his guards, so two Instructors with 9-star combat power were assigned.

It was very likely that Roland the Instructor of group 2 was reserving his power against those who attacked him to eliminate this group of insolent ones who attacked the Anthos students.

Considering that there might be a 9-star enemy Roland and Heinz had to be very discreet to find all the assailants quickly.

So they were immediately ready to die. As they served as mercenaries or knights before joining Black, they do not know the reputation of the Anthos Instructors. They are all former soldiers of the Red Fort.

The Duchy has always attached great importance to this school that cultivates talents for the family so since it was founded very few students have died in confusing situations.

Heinz smiled and opened his mouth.

"You're afraid of Anthos Academy, but you weren't afraid of attacking the students?"

"There is no other instructor. I came here alone."

"Dogs!"

"If there were all the teachers of Anthos a small kingdom would be destroyed."

"You guys couldn't even talk to me like that right now. And where to hide in this meadow? It's funny how they hide to raid and stuff."

The extremely nervous men took a breath and looked around. There was nowhere to hide in the open area.

Soon the men were back with a powerful attitude.

It was because I was ashamed to let myself be carried away by some of Heinz's words.

"You came alone you're just a fearless dog."

"Really?"

As Heinz spoke, everyone charged forward aiming for Heinz's neck.

"It must have been very unfortunate for you. I'm sorry."

"Oh, my God!"

****

Front line.

"You all did well."

"It may be a little difficult since it's your first time, but it's a process you have to get used to since you have to live here for the next three months."

"So you can't complain. Get used to this place as soon as possible."

"Understood?"

"Yes!"

"Good. You all must be tired, so you should rest for today."

The children relaxed only after hearing the words of their direct superior. Each of them leaned against the wall and chatted.

"Wow... The abyssal wolves were really big."

"I know."

"By the way, Edward wasn't a joke, huh?"

Marrie also led the soldiers and killed an abyssal wolf, right?"

"He he~ Did you see it?"

Marrie scratched her head sheepishly. Then, everyone started bragging about how they defended themselves against the abyssal wolves and lions.
