He was considered one of the strongest mages in the upperworld, but his power cannot be compared to the goddess standing before him. The Black Mage could feel the weight of their combined power bearing down on him, but he held his ground.

Melinoia tilted her head to one side, her expression one she had learned after being with her husband for a long time. The smiling young goddess she used to be had long since been replaced by a more seasoned and stern deity. She observed the Black Mage with a calculating gaze, weighing his proposal carefully.
