Iris was at a loss, not knowing what she was supposed to do at that moment. She glanced at Killian for help, but the demon lord was preoccupied as he tried to talk with the Unseelie King, probably trying to convince him to stop the attack on Calaren Town.

King Zephyr didn't look pleased with her request and Iris wasn't sure if he would agree, considering that it was Chrysanthe who asked him to attack the town in the first place. He turned his gaze on them and Iris mustered all the courage she had and didn't break their eye contact.

"I don't know, Killian. Surely, you wouldn't take back your word just because the Queen told you to. She might be Lord Arman's progeny, but it doesn't mean I would put her wishes above my wife's."
