Sudden Death

Sadly not everything goes as Jonathan planned. At first, the people that went inside the cabin seemed to be completely fine and were doing quite well but while Jonathan was waiting in the normal resting area and chatting with others he happened to glance at the player count momentarily for some reason.

The number was at 61 as it had been after the game ended but while Jonathan was watching the 61 suddenly turned into a 60, 'Huh?' Jonathan thought in confusion when he saw the number suddenly go down. He thought it was a glitch at first or maybe his eyes were playing tricks on him but sadly that wasn't the case.

When he realized that someone had died somehow Jonathan immediately stood up and stopped his conversation looking all over the room for something that would indicate someone dying, "What are you doing?" The person Jonathan was talking to named Barry asked.

Barry was one of the people Jonathan saved in the first game and he had decided to spend time with him to try and strengthen their connection hence the confusion when Jonathan suddenly stopped mid-conversation. Jonathan didn't answer with words but instead took his hand and pointed it toward the board that showed how many people were alive.

When Barry looked up and saw the number his face instantly paled. Similar to Jonathan Barry immediately stood up and began scanning all across the room looking for a dead body. One thing that they didn't understand was how someone was killed in the first place.

They were in the resting area for goodness sake! There should be no death, there should only be rest until the next game begins and even then the death should not be so simple. When Barry and Jonathan stood up and began looking around the room many people took notice of that and began trying to understand what was happening themselves.

Once people looked around trying to understand someone finally looked up and saw that the number of people alive had gone down by one, "SOMEONE DIED!" They shouted making everyone that didn't already understand look toward the counter and sure enough, the number was one lower than it was before.

However, before any more movement could be made there was a sudden scream from toward the cabin, "AHHHHHH! HELPPP!" A girl screamed from the cabin. When everyone heard this immediately people's faces went dark. Jonathan saw what was happening and assumed the worst quickly running toward the force field despite knowing that he couldn't go through.

Barry also saw Jonathan begin running and decided to follow behind him to see if he could help in some way. They made their way to the force field and many others did as well but right when they arrived the door to the cabin opened and one person ran outside while another was thrown out.

When Jonathan saw who was thrown out he almost exploded with rage. Angela had been thrown out the door and onto the ground seemingly in great pain and injury. She had slight blood on her lips which showed the damage that had been done to her so far but besides that nothing was visible.

As for the person who ran out it was Kylie and there was an obvious bruise on her face from what seemed to be a punch. At this point Jonathan was raging from the inside and it only increased when he saw the 3 guys walk out of the cabin.

"Well, I didn't mean for this to happen." John said laughing as he walked out of the cabin with his 2 goons. The 2 guys had ugly looks on their faces and it look like they were even smirking despite the terrible situation.

"If your friend Derek wouldn't have struggled so much then we would have been able to get you both as quietly as possible." John said once more before getting some laughs from his 2 lackeys.

Jonathan had an ugly face himself now and looked like he was about to burst. Even Barry who was friends with him backed away slightly when seeing the angered Jonathan. Kylie was no different since she had an enraged look on her face but she was injured and didn't seem to have enough power to take on all 3 guys.

"You guys disgust me." Kylie said spitting which reached all the way to Clyde hitting him right in the cheek.

When Clyde felt the spit hit his face he frowned, "Boss let me kill that girl." Clyde said in anger as he balled his fist up.

Clyde was about to go forward to attack Kylie but John stuck his hand out stopping Clyde. When Clyde saw this he frowned but he stepped back seeing what John was going to do. John then looked toward Jonathan before saying, "This Kylie girl is your friend right?" John asked with a smug smile on his face.

Jonathan was an inch away from exploding with anger after seeing his friends treated in such a way but he held himself back since he knew that any sudden or bad move would end in the death of his friends, "Yeah I am." Jonathan said nodding.

John then smirked even further with an evil smile before saying, "We will keep both of them alive for a price. We know that you are good at the games and we would like you to work for us so how much are they worth to you?" John said before laughing hard. When Clyde and Zach heard this they began laughing like crazy as well thinking it was the best joke in the world to play with the lives of others.

Jonathan was close to just screaming profanities at them but he knew that the lives of his friends were in those guys' hands before he could think further or even decided what to do in the situation a little girl's voice cut through everything silencing everyone in surprise, "I a-allow J-j-jonathan access to the cabin." Angela said in pain while on the ground.

When everyone heard this they had their jaws dropped while Jonathan had a wide grin on his face as he walked through the force field.
