Denial

Sarah blinked. She thought, 'Is the man sitting across from me still the same Randy I knew?'

At that moment, she was staring at her knight in shining armor in a brand new light. She could not ever imagine the guy was this caring. Undeniably, Randy's concern brought warmth to her chest. 

"I think it was a good idea," she concurred. "I will pack up after breakfast. Mario was checking in here. I don't want to stay in the same place as him." 

"Good." Randy nodded with satisfaction to see Sarah was obedient to him, which a very unusual of her. 

"Thank you, Randy." As they continued having breakfast, Sarah expressed her gratitude. She doesn't know what would happen to her if she met Mario alone. 

It shocked her when Randy threw a joke at Mario out of the blue. But it does benefit her big time. She is truly grateful that he helped her get rid of Mario.
