On Valefor's side, the Purplefire Fiend King's spirit emerged from the Myriad Fire Spirit Flag with a dubious yet nervous look.

"Were you asking me, Master?" the Purplefire Fiend King wondered apprehensively.

However, Valefor shook his head.

Sometime later, Thanatos arrived with the other three Great Devils in tow.

Mephistopheles, Astarte, and Balmodan had all taken the chance to see the 'Heavenly Devil' in person and confirm his strength with their own eyes without disrespecting the latter.

It was also a good opportunity to become familiar with the Heavenly Devil, lest they fail to recognize him and offend him by mistake later.

What they didn't expect was that they would be convinced before they had even arrived.

On the way to the core region, they had seen the enormous crater where the Sea of Eternal Purpleflame should have been. Not even the swarm of Fire Fiends could be found.
