"Right from Day one at the army camp, that's the day you joined in newly. I've always had my eyes on you. I found myself developing deep feelings for you. But I just didn't know how to say it to you because we weren't close to each other then. But this mission brought us closer in a day," Peter narrated.

Sonia listened to Peter. Her heart was beginning to race.

"It's been in me all these while. Just didn't know how to start. But I do now." Peter looked at Sonia.

Sonia was staring at him. Peter faced Sonia, with his right leg on the bed. He took Sonia's hand slowly and covered it up with his two hands. Sonia felt the warmth coming from Peter's hand. It was comfortable. Peter began caressing Sonia's hands, looking for a way to start or begin. He sighed with his eyes closed.
