Betty looked up at Diana.
"What?" Diana asked in a whisper.
"I don't know, but I feel like I should have followed them," Betty said with a sigh. "Staying here won't solve anything."
" And going out there solves nothing, either."Diana snapped." Just why can't you understand that?"
Silence permeated the hall for seconds.
" There isn't hope, everyone is a zombie already, and there isn't anyone to call for help. if we go out there we would die, "Diana explained.
Betty inhaled a sighing breath, lowering her gaze now. " And staying here too long can lead to death, I'm hungry already. And what if someone comes to help, but doesn't know we are here, those who left will be safe and we will eventually die of starvation. "
" But_"Diana fumbled for something to say.
