Alex regretted saying those words the moment he uttered them. He knew that Benny would be unimaginably hurt by those words, how could he not be when it hurt Alex to even say them.

Benny got up from the couch, where he had landed after being thrown by Alex, and bolted past his older brother. Alex could see the tears streaming down his face as he ran passed and he could feel the immense pain in his movements right up until he slammed his bedroom door shut.
