Christmas Miracles Pt2

[Jisoo POV]

I was shocked because although this person had a mask and cap on, I recognized those star shaped earrings. "Mr Jin Woo is that you?" I asked in a polite manner as even though we've been around each other for awards and shows but this was the first time I had actually said anything to him.

He opened his eyes slowly which revealed eyes that were as black as night and had little to no life and was filled with sorrow in them looked at me and when he saw me it then came back to normal.

"Miss Jisoo how can I help you?" he asked like an old man. "You can just call me Jisoo and I came over here because I saw that you had been here since I arrived at the orphanage so I was curious as I thought you were a bad guy here for child trafficking or some other evil intentions." When he heard that he looked at me and chuckled then he pulled his mask down which revealed a charming smile and asked "Do I look like I'm into the child trafficking business or any other evil businesses Jisoo?" to which I just shook my head to which he said with a smile "You don't have to be so tense around me Jisoo, you can call me Jin Woo and speak informally with me, I get uncomfortable when people are on edge around me." I nodded then asked "What are you doing here anyways.... Were you the one who donated all those things?" He looked at me in the eyes which made me flinch at how deep his eyes were, it was as if I was staring into the abyss, it gave him a sense of mystery. "Yes it was me but do me a favor and please don't tell anyone about it"

I was curious about something so I asked in an annoyed voice as I was upset at how he just left and didn't meet the kids "If it was you then why didn't you spend time with them and just left after dumping everything there?" He looked a bit saddened after he heard that and just replied by saying "I have no family of my own which I don't really mind as I'm used to it but it's just special days like these that I want to see others enjoying and having fun and there's no place better than an orphanage who has kids who are just like me in a sense which is why I came here and as for why I didn't want to spend time with them.... Well it's because I would feel like I'm abandoning them when I leave at the end of the day so I decided to sit here and watch them have fun and play games forgetting about all their worries." Jin Woo said as he looked at all the kids playing with those sorrowful eyes I saw at the beginning. 'I wonder what happened to you to have such thoughts on such a happy day' I thought to myself.

While I was staring at the side of his face thinking about what he said he got up, dusted his pants and said "Looks like the sun is about to set, I should get going... It was nice meeting you Jisoo." he said while walking away waving his hand with another in his pocket, he didn't even wait for my reply so I just stood there watching him dissappear from my sight which made confused because I felt saddened for some reason when he left even though this was the first time we had spoken to each other, I felt as if I had known him my entire life.

[Third POV]

While Jin Woo was walking away he thought of a memory from his past life.

"Jin Woo wait here for mum ok I'll be back soon" said his mum leaving a five year old Jin Woo crying at the doorstep of an orphanage never to return, everyday he would wait at the doorstep until he realized that she's never going to come back so he just gave up on hoping for anything.....that was one of the main reasons he could not bring himself to play with those orphans and decided to just watch as he felt like he would be doing the same thing as his mother had done to him who he had grown to hate in the past.

'*sigh* I've gotten a second chance at life and to think I'd still have my previous scars' Jin Woo thought to himself while shaking his head and walking away.
