The Visitor

"The Dungeon? That place is full of black men packed in crowded fucking cells!" Reinhard sprang to life.

"Why wasn't I informed? That woman would be violated and played with in there!" Reinhard angrily said.

"I think that was Ava's intention," Jord said. His voice turning soft. He looked down on the ground, prompting Reinhard to calm down.

"Wait, Jord. It's not your fault," Reinhard said, thinking that Jord was blaming himself.

"I wanted to stand up against her when she told us to do it, but knowing the punishment that would befall me if I did, I cowered and let the bastards take the girl," Jord clenched his fists.

"It's not your fault. Even I fear the consequences of standing up against the nobility but do cheer up," Reinhard smiled.

Jord looked at him and smiled as well.

"You bastard. So, what are you going to do now that you know what happened to the girl?" Jord asked.

"She's a mage right? A tank mage," Reinhard asked.

"Yes, she can also cast fire and water related magic and she can cast multiple 5th tier spells at once, such talented girl but that's as far as I know," Jord said.

"She was at peak <C+> rank what I heard but, unless they restrained her and her magic while in that dungeon, I doubt things have happened to her, yet," Reinhard said.

"But wasn't her magic restrained when she was captured?" Jord asked.

"No, when we captured her. I had two other mages with me who sucked out most of her mana," Reinhard said.

"W-Wait, magiclust?!" Jord was surprised.

"Yes, mages who specialize in sucking out the mana of others. But her mana won't stay depleted for long and I doubt the mages would be stationed there just so she could be restrained," Reinhard said.

"That's true but wouldn't you think that when they took her there, she was still low in mana?" Jord asked.

Reinhard realized the hole in his reasoning.

"Shit, you're right,"

Both of them sighed.

"So both of them are dead, huh," Jord said, asking another topic.

"Most likely. The band of knight friends the Count sent out to chase after that runaway elf will surely not return. Those cowards wouldn't last a single day in the forest, let alone 5 days, they are extremely lucky to survive in a forest filled with bloodthirsty monsters and beasts that long, I am very surprised of those low rank soldiers," Reinhard said.

"Right on. But I get this feeling that something else might have happened," Jord said.

"Yeah," Reinhard nodded.

"Hey, is it me, or there are no monsters came out of the forest, its been nearly a week that we didn't see a single one. It's too quiet over there," Jord said.

"Yeah, this is unusual,"

Reinhard walked to the edge of the wall and looked towards the forest that was a kilometer in front of him.

Only one dirt path lead to the forest which is already abandoned and full of grass, vines, and covered by treelines while the other roads diverged to the grassy plains and the fields of wheat.

He then felt a shiver rundown his spine as a flock of birds suddenly flew from the trees.

"Huh? What's that?" One of the knights pointed out. A black silhouette was emerging from the clearing and walking down the dirt path.

"There's someone coming from the forest," Jord said as he took out his crude binoculars.

The men on the walls immediately took up positions.

"Shit, a human monster perhaps?" Jord said.

Reinhard was still looking at the figure when he noticed that its eyes glowed red.

He felt an immense pressure from those eyes that made him feel immense fear.

"What the hell?" Reinhard said.

"What? What is it?" A concerned Jord walked to his side.

"I feel immense power from that man," Reinhard said.

"Man?" Jord took a look.

The man's wavy hair dancing along with the breeze. Jord took a closer look and saw the red eyes that glared back at him, both made eye contact each other.

He gasped and was taken aback by a fear he had never felt before. The rest of the garrison on the walls that saw the figure were also struck by the same fear.

It is a fear that not even Demigods can give that much. Not even horrific monsters nor even Overlords could bring such level.

"The hell is that thing," Jord said as he unsheathed his sword.

"Wait! Don't provoke him," Reinhard called out.

"But!" Jorn said.

"Look, he may seem powerful but we don't know if he has ill intentions. Let's not judge him too fast," Reinhard said. He said this not because he didn't want to judge him, no, he was a judger himself and if this was anyone else, he would've ordered the archers to fire at the figure.

But fear overwhelmed him. The fear that even he did not understand. The fear that came from those red eyes of his that looked as if it stared directly into his soul, as if the Dark Lord himself arrives in the overworld.

The figure came closer and the mysterious figure was revealed to be a man who wore unusual clothing. The black trenchcoat and other uniform he wore it gave off a vibe of power. His skin was so pale that its nearly translucent, he was like some sort of vampire or undead.

Maybe he was, Reinhard and Jord suspected this.

"Tell any mages who has holy magic to cast purification spells or high tier holy spells on that man," Jord whispered. Jord, overrun with fear, wanted to make sure that what was going against them was actually a human and not an undead humanoid that was about to wreak havoc.

Reinhard was oblivious to what Jord ordered.

Not until he noticed the white magic circles appearing around the man.

"Wait! Stop! What the fuck are you guys doing?" Reinhard shouted.

But it was too late as many mages casted tens of different types of holy spells.

{Mass Purification!}

{Holy Smite!}

{Brilliance Radiance!}

The figure stopped in his tracks and looked at tens of magic circles big or small that surrounded him in the ground, sides, in the sky, and every directions. Then, in an instant, he was struck by countless immense powerful surge of magic power.

The garrison and the people in the fields looked on as the man was seemingly absorbed by the bright flashes of lights that was almost enough to blind anyone who was looking at it.

A minute passed and the lights of every holy spells faded. The garrison quivered in their boots.

What they are seeing, to people's shocked in the walls, the man in black clothing seem unscathed and unfazed, his expression shows everything that the spells they throw pretty much seems ineffective.

Artemis, not just the magic didn't damage him to the slightest, it does nothing but only empowering and kickstart his systems.

The man's systems weren't working at optimal capacity just yet due to low power but the surge of magical energy seemed to be powering him up faster than the sun.

But he knew he was being attacked.

"You idiot!" Reinhard said as both he and Jord were given a scene of absolute horror.

The man was still standing but he was exerting a terrifying aura that enough to dampen the atmosphere around him.

"What is he doing?" Reinhard and Jord noticed the man taking a step back and a powerful light was brimming from his hands that he placed together.

Noticing this, Reinhard couldn't help but gave out a confuse look on his face because he didn't felt any traces of magic within it.

"What the hell—"

In a flash, a beam of light came from the man and destroyed the main gate in what resulted to be an explosion of epic proportions. The walls around the gate were blown up as the gate itself was vaporized from existence. The buildings behind the gate weren't spared as the beam of light burned down dozens of houses.

After that, Reinhard, Jord and the rest of the garrison were thrown off from the wall as wave of red light pushed them and the wall over. Effectively destroying the southern half of the outer wall.
