The Storm

It took a minute for Maria to get over the shock of what had just happened. However, she did and immediately sprang into action. Immediately, she dialed the gatekeeper's number hoping to God he was at his duty post. 

Thankfully he was as he picked up the call on its first ring. Without putting any thought into the request she was about to make, she immediately screamed into the phone, "Do not let the man coming out now leave. I'll be right there" she ordered.

Immediately, she dropped the call and without wasting any time, ran out of the house. She didn't know what exactly she was hoping to achieve with all this. It was almost like she was going mad, but she didn't care at this point. She didn't want to think, she just wanted to go with what she felt at the moment. She got out and thankfully it was about to rain. At least she had an excuse to keep him for a while.

"That would be all now" she interrupted her security divulging her instructions to Vincenzo.
