Mandy's Diary at College

   "How many times did Justin propose to you?" Candice asked, putting on her earrings in front of the mirror.

   "Many times." I laughed out loud because Justin was always asking if I wanted to be his wife. "As if not satisfied just asking once. But…." I looked at the ring on my ring finger, which he had just bought as a sign of a more serious proposal than before. "This one is more serious. I hope he's always serious."

   Candice laughed softly, then turned around.

   "Really, he was never serious?"

   "It's not like that, really. I still can't believe he wants to be my husband. I mean, look at me. Has many shortcomings. Not to mention that Magdalena Bedington doesn't like me."

   "You don't have to take the old lady's heart. She really is heartless."
