CHAPTER 13

A soldier with the rank of commander in chief ran hastily and headed for a king's camp. The commander of the Spinx kingdom could not understand what he saw some time ago frightened him to death.

'At this rate, the kingdom can collapse by that girl' echoed in his head about the element used by that girl.

'Isn't light an element sacred which can only be for healing and awakening.'

He couldn't believe using the Elements of light for such a powerful attack.

"Your Excellency!" The commander-in-chief called out to King Spinx in a rage and even forgot his respect and manners.

"What's the matter, commander Lucg? What's the matter with you?" asked King Watson seeing Lucg very depressed.

"Hey Lucg, where is your courtesy and respect for the king. You are a Commander-in-Chief in the Kingdom, but you seem like a commoner who has no respect for the King." a noble sneered at Lucg for sneaking into the king's camp who was waiting for the outcome of the war with several nobles.

Lug must be furious. His reddened eyes stared at the nobles who were relaxing, waiting for good news for them. Lug was very emotional to see his fellow soldiers have to die in vain. If it knew like this, Lucg would choose to be on the crown prince's side, considering that the Crown Prince at that time chose not to fight against the girl. Lucg remembered when the crown prince said that the kingdom would not bear the consequences for bothering the girl, and Lucg had seen a fraction of the consequences the kingdom was now receiving.

"What are you guys thinking, huh! You aristocrats are just trash. Because of your greed, my friends died in vain. If I know this, I will go with Prince Emilio instead." Lucg shouted at the nobles.

"What are you saying, you commoner! Your Majesty, you must punish this person. Removing his post and beheading him for rebelling." the other nobles joined in.

"Your Majesty, I stopped being your soldier," said Lucg removing his armour. He was tired of the aristocrats who looked like animals in his eyes.

"The kingdom is up. The girl is right that Prince Emilio said the kingdom would not be able to bear the consequences," said Lucg with a trembling body remembering the incident.

"What happened, Lucg? What made you like this? Say!" The king also spoke between Lucg and the nobles.

"That girl massacred all the frontline troops with just one stroke," Lucg said with trembling lips.

"That girl wielded the Element of Light, but that girl used her element as attack magic, and it killed all of my comrades on the front lines. All died in an instant." continued Lucg quietly.

The King and Nobles were surprised to hear Lucg's words. They never expected the girl, often known as Lady Gabby, to be a Light Release user.

"No way, only a Paladin can use the Light Element, and after all, the Light Element is only for healing magic." said a nobleman in disbelief.

"You must be making it up, Lucg. You want the King not to punish you."

"Yeah, that's right, Lucg, you're just bragging", interrupted the nobles.

"You guys just relaxing here know what. That girl is also riding a Pegasus. That girl is no ordinary girl." Lucg retorted, mocking the nobles.

The nobles also fell silent hearing Lucg say that the girl was riding a Pegasus. This is the second surprise after finding out Lady Gabby contracted a Dragon.

The king sighed and rubbed his face roughly. "We're over. It's true what Emilio said, and the Kingdom won't be able to bear the consequences. I should have listened and followed Emilio's advice."

"Your Majesty, how is this?" the nobles began to panic about the fall of the Spinx kingdom.

"Your Majesty, if Prince Emilio knows the consequences, then doesn't Prince Emilio know the girl before us?" said one of the nobles.

"That's right, how do we persuade prince Emilio to make peace with that girl?"

"It seems that the prince knows the girl very well, considering it was Prince Emilio who was the least accepting of this war."

The nobles began to persuade the King that the King would persuade Prince Emilio to make peace with the girl.

"Too late, Emilio left right after the meeting that day. He gave up the title of the crown prince to Gustav. Now I don't know where Emilio is." said the King was at a loss for words.

The nobles were silent. No one could say anything. Everything has ended. It's the end of the Spinx empire, destroyed by a little girl, isn't that ridiculous.

The silence in the King's camp was disturbed by the soldiers guarding outside. One soldier came into the camp and informed the king that the enemy leader had come to them alone.

"Sincerely Your Majesty the Spinx King. Outside, the girl came to see His Majesty." said the soldier kneeling salute.

'Faster than I thought' The king chose to surrender rather than inflict more deaths.

The nobles and the king came out of the camp. They saw a girl riding a very elegant Pegasus horse.

'If I wasn't so impulsive, this girl might be the next crown princess and queen', thought the King looking at the girl.

"I have allowed you to apologize to me, but you are more stupid than I thought, Your Majesty." Gabby sarcastically opened her voice, looking at them flatly.

Gabby threw the bloodstained package in front of them. Lucg opened the package and was surprised to find that it was the head of the Minister of Finance and Count Riel. The king could only stare at the package in silence. At the same time, the nobles who were silent early out of the camp were speechless.

"I don't want to kill anymore, and I will send an envoy for you, Your Majesty. I hope Your Majesty will decide wisely, and this war is over."

After saying that, Pegasus started to flap his wings and flew away, leaving the King and the Nobles looking desperate.

Three days after the war, the kingdom's conditions began to be conducive. Although Lady Gabby won the war, she didn't make the losing kingdom enslaved people.

The messenger that Gabby sent was Baba. Baba met with Crown Prince Gustav because King Watson was sick after the war, and Prince Emilio, who was previously the Crown Prince, had left the palace.

The Spinx Kingdom is only the smallest kingdom in the Khaaslonia continent because Baba asked for the northern part of the Spinx Kingdom, which made the Dpinx Kingdom's Territory only less than a quarter of a quarter the territory before.

The northern part of the Spinx kingdom is the widest Territory and is adjacent to the forest of death. That's why Gabby prefers the northern part of the Spinx kingdom rather than having to take all of the kingdom's territory.

It's not that Gabby doesn't want to take all of the Kingdom's territory. She was still thinking about the few nobles who had not interfered before and Duke Charlotte's family.

The previously neutral nobles who converted to the Lady Gabby Faction left the kingdom and moved to the northern part of the Spinx Kingdom.

One week after the war, the northern part of the Spinx kingdom was finally released from Gabby's hands, and she made the Rose Manor a palace, and Dekhel City became the capital of the Kingdom which was named the Queenby Kingdom.

Gabby announced to the people who lived and to the nobles who sided with her that she would create a kingdom in the north, and it received great support from the nobles and the people.

The people have been waiting for a long time to hope that the northern part will prosper, considering that when it was still in the hands of the Spinx Kingdom, the northern part was a Territory that rarely received funds from the kingdom even though the territory was very wide.

The Spinx Kingdom used to be busy only with taking care of the greedy nobles and advancing the capital to forget about the rest of the territory.
