As Selene's Skill lost its bind over the space, only two players were left in the sky.
The Imaginary Lord Voldemort rippled like black smoke in the sky, his reptilian eyes furiously shifting left and right. Perhaps he knew his existence wasn't real. Perhaps not. One thing was clear, the Dark Lord didn't want to leave the battlefield like this.
Unfortunately, he wasn't the biggest piece on this board anymore.
Crrkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!
The Obscurus appeared right in front of the Dark Lord.
Unlike Dumbledore, Lord Voldemort could move and cast spells freely now. The moment he sensed space wobbling and rippling in front of him, along with a terrifying blackness, he fired curses after curses. Bolts of green lightning boomed toward the parasitic, magical force simultaneously.
The Obscurus couldn't have cared less.
It slithered between them, approaching the Dark Lord. Twisting, churning, coiling, and phasing in and out of existence, the mass of blackness dodged all curses.
"Argh!" Lord Voldemort let out a hissing growl.
Seeing no other choice, he waved his wand and holed himself up within dozens of spherical, magical shields. Even if he didn't have Elder Wand, such a display of magic was already at the height of wizarding mastery. With a dozen magical shields working together, their defense had already surpassed the shield put up by Dumbledore with an autonomous twitch of his wand.
Boom!
Lord Voldemort let out a victorious smirk as he saw the Obscurus shattering the two outermost layers of magical shields. Instantly, he waved his wand, regenerating the shields, and added two more. Now he was panting, his Magic running out. Yet, the vile grin on his face broadened.
The Dark Lord looked up toward the old wizard still flying on Hippogriff.
"We should work…" Grindelwald screamed.
Lord Voldemort looked away from the pitiful fool, ignoring his words. Then his eyes widened.
The Obscurus was backing up.
Timeline Resonance…
Under Voldemort's stunned gaze, the colossal, cloud of blackness shrunk so fast that it left afterimages.
From the size of a hall, the black, rippling cloud became the size of a football.
Then, a tennis ball…
Then, a golf ball…
Then, a point…
Voldemort's heart skipped a beat. He raised his wand, hoping to cast another, forbidden magic. It was already too late.
Space hummed as the point first collapsed onto itself and then exploded. It was like someone had taken a brush, dipped it in the blackest of ink, and then waved it on the paper with a casual, but firm hand.
… Obscurus Cero!
Crack!!
In one moment, the Obscurus shattered all the magical shields, ripped a hole in Voldemort's chest, and then shattered the magical shields behind him, too.
Voldemort was still lifting his wand to cast some unknown magic.
Suddenly, the Imaginary Dark Lord's entire existence turned into flakes of ashes before they scattered up as if raining on the sky.
Time to Timeline Detonation - 25 seconds…
Crrkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!

Deep within the earth, Black smiled seeing the dull-gray notification.
…
[
Your request to end the Title Cooldown ahead of time is accepted.
Once you equip a new Title, the Cooldown will be restored as usual.

…
Black equipped Master Curator instantly.
His Luck soared. The between less than 10 and over 50 Luck was so much that even though it was a Concept, Black felt himself drowning in it as if it was material.
His very existence could feel it.
It was like poison seeping into the blood vessels, then reaching organs, corrupting all and everything within a body.
Black welcomed this poison with open arms. He licked his lips, his eyes becoming dark, vertical slits, surrounded by purple rims of the Demon King. Lilith materialized over him as a Yellow Cloak, imitating the invisible Yellow Cloak Artifact on him. Just when these changes seemed to end, a feeling bubbled up within him.
It rose from Black's guts to his heart before reaching his brain.
Why didn't the Timeline detonate when the Anomaly, Shadow Lord, got unleashed on the Pirates of the Caribbean Random World?
Ad Infinitum lunged at the question as if its entire existence depended upon it.
Before, it had no variable to work upon. Now that it had a starting point, it could churn out theory after theory, making sure all filled the conditions set by the question.
Did the Supreme Protector also get a Timeline Detonation notification?
Was that why he had been forcing all the Contestants to leave the island?
Had he planned to confront the Anomaly with the help of Prime and Lead Protectors?
But the old man had died under Sounga's hand before he could have done anything about it, no?
Then who stopped the Timeline Detonation?
These weren't the only questions the AI had generated, analyzed, and answered. But these were indeed the gist of them. By the end it reached the last question, Black already knew the solution to his seemingly unsolvable problem.
The answer was…
The Yellow Warlock ignored the weight of the earth pressing on his shoulders and pushed himself up, pulling the hood over his face.
… Kai Stormborn.
Time to Timeline Detonation - 10 seconds…

10…
He was the last stand.
Once the Obscurus ended him, nothing was stopping it from raining down its wrath on the students.
9…
Grindelwald flew on the Hippogriff, taking it away from the students.
Suddenly, the Hippogriff shook, its huge wings pausing in space as if someone had taken hold of it. In the very next moment, it became stone before vanishing out of existence and returning to the Book.
8…
Grindelwald fell, his heart screaming for the lost magical might.
"Haaaaaaaaaa!"
Great magical force rippled around him as his shout brought out the magic sleeping within.
In his prime, when he had ruled the dark side of this world as the greatest and vilest wizard of his era, he had flown as a mass of black cloud, much like that of the Obscurus.
Now, pure white had replaced those dark colors.
Now, he flew once more, but with grace and courageous intentions.
7…
Crrkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!
Boommmmm!
…
5…
Where was he?
Was he dead already?
No! He could hear the students screaming… He must get up…
Someone put an arm under his left arm and pulled him up before he could slip back into oblivion.
Grindelwald looked through the blood and saw his friend. Dumbledore looked back at him. Both had lost half of their bodies. Grindelwald's right side was missing and the Headmaster's left side couldn't be seen anywhere. They were still holding their wands, though.
Behind them, the students' cries reached their ears and they smiled.
3…
Crrkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!
The last stand of the wizarding world looked up and saw the Obscurus becoming a round ball.
Timeline Resonance…
Heat rained over them out of nowhere.
It was so hot that they could feel their skin burning red. Behind them, many students had already lost consciousness. Grindelwald and Dumbledore gulped, their throats going dry. Again they lifted their heads and saw the unimaginable scene.
The Obscurus was burning, emitting flames.
It was like someone was carrying a giant, ball of fire at the tip of one's finger.
… Obscurus Cruel Sun!
1…
The two old wizards raised their wands, casting one final magic of their lives.
But before the sun fell, words rang in their ears like a phantom's whispers, shaking their souls.
"I am the blood in my bones…"
0…
And then an ocean of blood replaced the world in their eyes, the stars overhead shining yellow.
