Chapter 79: The End of an Era

The final herrscher landed on the moon with a huge crater just like a meteor. As she shaked her head and looked at her attacker. Making air currents, and then an atmosphere, she then talked. "Einheri, the anomaly in this world. You have escaped from the imaginary space, and even broke through the abyss of the sea of quanta. You are quite amazing." She then laughed and scoffed. "But what of it?"

Ein narrowed his eyes at her glowing visage. She looked like an angel with her golden halo and rune like lines on her body. "Herrscher, you must be confident?" He then noticed her overwhelming amounts of honkai energy. "Enough talk." He gulped air and consolidated energy in his mouth. Roaring like a dragon as a thin black beam was released.

The woman smirked and raised a hand. As the beam hit her hand, it was then deflected to the surroundings. Hitting the side of the moon, it immediately turned red hot and exploded. Chunking the celestial body as the both of them floated, currently in a standoff.

Ein then warped space in front of him to travel faster than light, then he gave a straight aimed right at her face. She then caught it with her bare hands, softening the blow considerably by slowing him down. But a massive explosion erupted, as it was able to be observed back on earth.

"Ha, is that all you've got? I expected more from you." She gave a smug smile. "I can do this all day." He gave thousands of blows as she blocked it with her void shields that uses space itself. The moon looked to be bombarded with all the nuclear arsenal of earth as explosions dotted the place.

"We have to help him, we're also the protectors of this planet." Kevin spoke as everyone of the combat based MANTISes nodded.

"But how are we even going to help him besides using Selene at the right time?" Vill asked as they watched the ongoing battle on the moon, and destructive pales in comparison to the overwhelming fire power being thrown around there.

"There's a way, but it won't be pleasant..." Su said as he opened his eyes that were normally always closed. "We use our full honkai reactive forms and make a connection with the imaginary space. Though our link will be minimal and quite weak." Everybody gasped as they always thought Su was the one who doesn't want to use that form at all costs.

"Are you sure about that Su? Won't we lose control or something? We've got cases of that like the person Kalpas hunted, and it wasn't pretty." Hua cringed at remembering one of the MANTIS turning into a mindless honkai beast.

"I've got a theory." Mobius intervened as they all listened, she is as smart as she is crazy after all, they thought. "I've been able to use my full form for a long time, and I can give you guys one piece of advice. Use everything you have immediately, and you'll lose your honkai energy. Weakening the influence of your genes." Everybody looked at her, confused.

"Wait, is it that simple? I don't think I can trust that." Kevin looked at Mobius as he always keeps his honkai genes from going out of control. Though he had a better time controlling it after the implantation of a stigmata.

Mobius sighed and face palmed. "Let me reiterate this again where your simple brain can understand Kevin. You have tons of honkai energy, you received basically a program that helped control it recently. It felt easier after, am I correct? Then connect the dots numbskull."

Kevin frowned but he did finally agree after some thinking. "Su, transport us using the cosmic juggernaut. Elysia, Kalpas, Hua, Kosma, Eden. Let's go... We've got one chance to make an opening for him, he won't blow it that's for sure." The combat related soldiers nodded as Su and Aponia were support. Griseo will make a domain that would trap the herrscher for an opening.

They made their plans and quickly boarded the cosmic juggernaut for their last mission.

Ein and the herrscher were throwing around energy based attacks. He was trying to make a plan around her reality breaking powers, being able to do what the other herrschers can do cranked to 100. While the herrscher enjoyed toying with him, as she has a very malicious and sadistic personality.

"You know that this is meaningless." She rained down subspace lances at him in all directions, severing space as it all flew to him at relativistic speeds. He deflected them all by increasing gravity thousands of times around him to slow them down, as getting hit by those won't be pretty.

He created a spear of his own with the 1st's power. Overloading it with honkai energy to try and break through her void shields which are practically unbreakable. "I'll be the judge of that." Her wings of light straightened and she controlled it like swords that orbited her.

He appeared right above as he slashed down with all his might. As his spear clashed against her wing. "Futile." The energy construct then extended as it slashed down at him slicing everything in it's way. He deflected it, but unfortunately, the moon did not, slicing the celestial body clean in half.

He backed off and connected it again, or it would be quite disastrous to the new generations of people on earth. "Why do you protect that silly ball of dirt. You won't get recognition, and they will all spit on your efforts. That's the reason why she went to us."

He narrowed his eyes at her as he noticed that the gang was on their way to give support. But he sighed at the futility of it and clenched his fists as they were then covered in thick black scales. "Hmm, that's for me to know. And you to learn." He turned transparent as his body appeared and disappeared, looking like a glitch.

The herrscher frowned as she couldn't pinpoint his location. "Tch, using the sea of quanta against me!? That won't work against." His green eyes glowed behind her as his raised arms went crashing down on her head like a hammer. She plummeted at the moon and went all the way through, like a red hot needle through butter. As she ate dirt for thousands of kilometers.

"You dare!" She was royally pissed, as she teleported away, clapping her hands like squashing a mosquito. As the moon got pulverized in both sides in a devastating display of power. She tried to feel his presence, but the he was still using the annoying ability.

A fist appeared to her left as it decked her right on her jaw, he then gave an uppercut that launched her above. While he waited at her trajectory and gave an axe kick to her head. As she got concussed by the overwhelming force.

The gang then appeared and colors started to appear at the herrscher's location. Saturating her with blue, black, and gray like a material that wouldn't come off. As Griseo activated her powers and tried to hold her off. The others started to transform and use the 0th power of their divine keys. While Selene was activated by Mobius to 300% power and bombarded the herrscher with a beam that turned her honkai energy into heat as she screamed. Making a temporary gap in her control of her massive reserves of energy.

Elysia that was now a pink humanoid crystal construct raised abyss flower, as it turned to a huge lance that spiralled black and white. Eden aimed Cosmic harmony as black spheres of death started to fly to the herrscher. Hua turned to a burning phoenix as she dove, turning into a blade of fire that could slice through almost anything. Kosma's horns thickened as he buffed up, while coating his arms with the lightning of the 7 thunders of retribution.

Kevin turned blue, as the might of an-utu burned brightly, outshining even stars as they all attacked. Throwing everything they've got at the herrscher. Ein consolidated every drop of his body's honkai energy to a spear, as he cocked it back and breathed deeply. Crackling with black lightning and flames that burned so hot, it was invisible to the naked eye.

"One attack to end it all... Return to dust as I declare your death!" Su then quickly reactivated the 2nd key to enter the seed of Sumeru, his very own bubble universe to hide. Ein then threw it as the spear travelled instantly, skewering her on the chest as it exploded like a supernova. Vaporizing anything that the blast radius reached in an instant. While the Ether anchor greedily absorbed the rich honkai energy and protected earth as it went deeper in the sea of quanta. Avoiding the destruction that vaporized the solar system and sent it to oblivion.

"Hah, hah. That took a lot out of me. I just wish that took a lot out of her as well." He then frowned as the herrscher was encased inside her void shields. But she is in pretty bad shape, with a gaping hole on her chest, and mangled limbs. Her smooth hair was almost completely singed off, as her skin burned. Showing her skull.

"Hah... Hah... I admit, you humans almost had me. But you forget one thing, I'm the god of honkai! And I have unlimited power! No more games humans! I will burn you all! EVEN ASHES WON'T REMAIN! FOR I AM A GOD!" She connected to the imaginary space as defending herself from Ein's attack and Selene made her remaining reserves dangerously low. As she regenerated and the space around her rippled and shaked. Even affecting the bubble universe of Su and the ether anchor, overloading it as space around them distorted.

"Herrscher. This world is mine! And I am the last bastion of humanity!" His horns grew even more, as his scales started to cover up his whole body. And he bulked up, reaching 3 meters in height. His honkai cores released all their pent up energy, as he stored 99% of it most of the time. Then, he connected to the imaginary space as well. Ein Recreated a habitable environment 1st as he rebuilt the solar system from scratch. Then he forced the herrscher to enter the deepest abyss of the sea of quanta.

"I am Einheri! The one who fights alone! An army of one! Humans have helped to create me!" He completely transformed as black lightning crackled around him, completely armored as he roared, shaking the bubble universes around, popping them as they fall to the abyss. (His appearance)

"TREMBLE BEFORE THE COMBINED MIGHT OF HUMANITY IN THIS ONE SINGLE BODY HERRSCHER! YOU!? A GOD? THEN YOU SHALL FALL JUST LIKE YOUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS BEFORE YOU! COME AT ME!!!"

Their energies clashed violently as the sea of quanta shaked from their display of power.
