Chapter 23: Kiss and Tell

It was Maria's first time roaming around the tourist spots in London. Of course, it was jam-packed with people from different countries and few locals.

They both went first to Buckingham Palace, the most renowned attraction of the city. As per protocol, the people weren't allowed to step out from the fences set on each side of the area.

"It's too crowded here," Zeronis said, clearly not so used to lining up along with people in a spot where to take pictures.

Maria, herself can't be excused if she too was pretty ignorant of how to behave as a real tourist should. She just observed the people around and followed their lead.

"I think we should get out of the queue?" she suggested which he grabbed. They excused themselves from the people cramming up together like sardines in the fence. The cameras were clicking as the queen's guards in the full-dress uniform of red tunics and bearskin hats marched inside the opened gate inside the palace ground.
