Chapter 615: Escape

Charlotte Cooper hastily used the glass to cut the ropes on her hands and feet. The sharp edges of the glass cut her hands, but she didn't dare to stop.

After cutting the ropes, Charlotte leaned against the door, listening to the water sounds outside, and thought this was her chance. She quietly walked to the window.

The window was an old-fashioned push type. As she opened it, the heavy window deepened the cuts on Charlotte's hands. Biting her lower lip, Charlotte's clothes were soaked with sweat.

The window made a 'creak' sound as it opened, not too loud but not too soft. The sound of the bathwater stopped outside. The fat man felt like he had heard something, but when the water was off, he thought, 'Maybe I heard wrong.' He shouted, "Behave, ugly wife! I'll be done showering soon."

Charlotte didn't dare move, her heart raced, and she felt her heart was about to jump out. Tears welled up in her eyes.
