Chapter 600: Wasting Time

The path up the mountain was extremely difficult and steep. Charlotte Cooper quickly found herself out of energy, panting heavily in place.

Henry Russell was not much better off either. Both of them leaned on each other while despairing at the sight of the rough mountain path.

"You insisted on coming, so now you'll have to bear the hardships." Henry said helplessly to Charlotte. Although there wasn't any blame in his words, he was still worried for her.

The woman in front of them didn't even bother looking back as she confidently climbed the path, leading them with ease.

Charlotte felt envious when she saw the woman; both of them were women, yet she couldn't afford to be so delicate.

Finding some strength, Charlotte began climbing to catch up to the woman, only managing to reach her when she had stopped to collect herbs.

"How can you climb so fast? Henry and I couldn't keep up with you. You're incredible."
