On the way to the blacksmith in Chai city, Lin Cian saw an auction house and decided to have a look at the auction hall. When he entered the auction house he heard a voice and unconsciously turned his head in that direction.

"Don't you hear what I say? Scram you *****"

He happened to see a man arguing with the manager of the auction hall. The manager looked furious. The man looked miserable. His face was dull he wore a robe but it is well made. He looked like he was in a pitiable condition. Even after hearing this the other man forced a smile on his face and began to speak.

"Sir please the lot is set already. How can you do this to me? You promised me you would accept the item"

"It is a worthless ****. Why should I ruin the reputation of our auction hall?"

"Sir the thing I gave you is a treasure. If not my wife is sick, I won't even dare to auction it. I beg you please understand my situation"

"Hahaha Then bring your wife to me. I would take care of her" the manager said with a creepy laugh while rubbing his hands. The man didn't know what to speak. His hope and his heart were shattered into pieces. He wanted to beg more but he couldn't but he decided to speak again.

"Sir, my daughter is just a child, she just turned six please be mercy and do this for me. I don't want to let my child be motherless" the man pleaded as his eyes were wet.

"Lu Cheng. Didn't I give you a way to help your wife? Can't you understand what I mean? She can be saved if you listened to me" The manager is a scum. Lu Cheng's wife is a beautiful and kind-hearted person. She is a doctor. This manager once came to her to be treated and tried to get her. But the doctor refused and married Lu Cheng. Now she is sick and this bastard tries to take advantage of it.

"Sir haven't we treated you well. We help you dissolve your poisons. We helped the sick people. How can you d..."

Before even he finishes his sentence the manager slapped Lu Cheng's face. The miserable man went out of his balance and tripped. Before he could stand the manager stepped over Lu Cheng's chest and said in a tempered voice.

"This is the difference between a royal and a fu***** peasant. You dare to get her away from me but you underestimated me. I will get whatever I want who are you a low born to argue with me?"

Lin Cian activated the 'Demon Gaze' but was only shocked to see that Lu Cheng is stronger than the manager, but he did nothing. Lin Cian understood everything. Lu Cheng doesn't seem to care about being hit and being embarrassed because of his love and affection towards his family. He wanted to save his wife and not let his child become an orphan.

The manager kicked and filthy words splattered from his mouth but suddenly someone cleared his throat and that interrupted the actions of the manager. The manager saw a young lad with black robes whose skin is pale with a skinny body.

When the manager saw Lin Cian, he frowned and asked "What is the problem with you?"

Lin Cian's answer was immediate.

"I just happened to pass by. I never heard or see anything"

The manager shouted "So what? Who cares? I will bury you if you heard anything about it low born...."

Lin Cian smiled and asked, "Are you sure?"

The manager laughed and asked "Sure about what? Do you think you can beat me? You filthy bastard can you do it? Look at..."

Before even he completes the room was filled with a terrifying aura. The killing intent was so strong. After practicing the 'Heart of separation' as his common practice for a year his mental energy needed for guiding the soul and spirit is very low. Not only the depletion is low but the burst of energy is also higher than average.

"He mistreated and dishonored me in the public" Lin Cian shouted. Lu Chen was shocked but Lin Cian signaled him so he didn't open his mouth.

"Well young man can I please know who you are?" asked the leader seeing the manager faints because of the pressure exerted by Lin Cian.

'Ooh, you want to know my identity well I will show you who I am.' Lin Cian thought to himself and stretched his left hand and a small light shined about an inch above his hand after a few moments the shining got brighter and stronger. Eventually, it developed into flame with high excretion of heat.

The old man was shocked to see this. The others may not understand but Lin Cian knew that this man will understand. After all, as a leader of the auction hall, he might have traveled to many places and countries. The thing is killing intent can only be exerted by an earth-level knight. Because the mental energy will barely be enough for them to command the soul energy only by getting good control over the energy can let them release killing intent which suppresses the enemy.

After knowing that he is an earth-level mage, the leader had the confidence to defeat him because he is an earth-level mage. Lin Cian guessed his intention and showed the flame. That is because the knight will practice his soul which is his dominant trait when he is an earth-level knight. After that, the leader suspended the manager in order to convince Lin Cian. Of course, if Lin Cian fought the old man he would stand no chance against the old man so Lin Cian took the initiative and deceived the old man by pretending himself as a star-level knight.

After that Lu Chen's product got accepted for the Decremental auction which is held once a week after the conclusion of the auction of that day. The decremental auction happened to be conducted on the current day so Lin Cian decided to stay and check it out.
