The rest of the temporary troops did want to fight for the leader position and were even thankful for our help. With that out of the way we had them start running laps. At the sametime Rou and I brought the Dwarfs to the workshop so they can help with crafting. Thanks to their straight forward personalities they quickly hit it off with craftsman. While blacksmith looked a little nervous she slowly got used to it. While we were doing that our new additions came up demanding a new training. Rou then decided to give them the same training as OgaKichi. As for the rest of the day Rou spent it messing with his new synthesis ability. I on the other hand spent my time going through the system to see what I can buy. Right now I have 70,000 points with that much I can buy another soul slot. Not only that but I can even afford to get another new soul and two other things. I have to admit I thought my points would not be enough for a lot of things. Looking through my options there were two that caught my eye. One was a beast soul called the evil eyed white tiger soul and the other was called clear sky hammer. Both of them are specialized in attack which from my fight against Aurtirumu I know I needed. After thinking about it for a while I decided to go with the clear sky hammer. I already have blue lightning tyrant dragon so a beast soul that relies on claw is not really needed right now. However since the clear sky hammer will increase in weight with each ring it guarantees explosive power.

I then went on to buy two things one was a book about medicine and the other was a book about formations. From the description formations are similar to magic cycles in that different ones have different effects. The difference however is that formation require more resources depending on with complex they are. Still I had a gut feel that these two books would be useful so I got them. As for why they are books it is because rather then being a skill it is a matter of knowledge. Thus for the next few days I spent most of my time reading up on how different plants have different effects. As for the formation book I left that alone for now since it made hardly any sense to me. We also started to cultivate some land and sent the prisoners that wanted to leave home. One of the most important event was when we were invited to elves soul banquet. When we were preparing to leave the elves we captured begged us to go along. Shera of course also asked us to allow them to go as well. It has been a few days since Shera found out they were the missing party but her reaction was not of anger. Instead she told me that since they attacked us first it is only fair we protect ourselves. When she said that I couldn't help but feel she is too good for me so I gave her a big hug. Now at the elf village Rou was talking with Father elf while I stayed next our elves. I did this because some of them looked sad at the fact that their friends and family were avoiding them. We talked and ate until it was time for Shera to preform the last rites to let the fall rest in peace. The rite was a dance that was an offering to the heavens so that the fallen would be let in.

As I watched her dance with orbs of light floating around I could feel something inside stir in my heart as a single tear fell. I wasn't sure why I would shed a tear but for now I left it alone. The day after we were gathered around a table discussing the trip we were planning. When the topic was brought up I can see that the girls were a little worried. Rou planning on letting them stay in a town so they have the chance to choose if they want to stay. As for the ones that were with me they decided to stay behind. After that we went on normally until it was time for us to leave. I was put in a group with Rou, Dambmi three lords and Shera. Of course the five human girls also came.

OgaRou: Alright it is time to get going but before that I only have one order. No matter what happens make sure everyone in your group returns alive.

With Rou's inspirational speak finished we boarded the carriage he made from skeletons and headed out. We left in noon and reached a town to rest in for the night. While we were there the village chief told us about how they have been attacked by Orcs recently. Realizing that they were probably from the mine we are now occupying we decided to help. Early the next day we were back on the road. While we were traveling our group encountered a few new types of monsters. As we were traveling my brother recommended a route that made the humans worry.

Blacksmith: The thing is, on the route you choose there is a monster nest containing a species called four winged eagles. Amongst them there is a Jade emperor subspecies. The Jade emperor not only has a divine blessing but it is also very intelligent.

Seeing Rou thinking the girls started to have hope but I knew better.

OgaHou: You probably should have down played how strong the eagle is.

As if to prove me right Rou excitedly said that we will be hunting down the Jade emperor. Everyone except for Dhampmi had shocked expression on their faces. To me it only made sense after all we made a vow to become strong no matter what and beating strong foes is the best way. A smile appeared on my face wondering what it would be like to fight the Jade emperor.
