Chapter 58

On the Planet of Naboo Padme Amidala was on her last year for being the Elected Queen of the planet. And now she was faced with probably one of the most important event's of Naboo which was the Invasion of Naboo by the Trade Federation.

The Trade Federation had used the excuse of the High Trade Laws that the Senate had implemented a few years ago to build up it's military forces against the threat of the Galactic Empire.

These Trade laws had decreased the Trade Federation's annual income by almost 15% which was a lot.

Though this same law Passed by the Senate was because of Emperor Palpatine who used his contacts in the Senate to push through a Law that would look to benefit the Republic but also anger a lot of corporations.

Then he used this to get the Trade Federation to invade the very world he was born on Naboo. He chose this place because it would be easy for the Trade Federation to conquer.

And now Queen Amidala was being faced with a crises as the Droid army of the Trade Federation invaded Naboo.

The Republic having gotten word about this had assembled a fleet of warship's to go and 'negotiate' with the trade Federation Blockade in order to see a peaceful end to this conflict.

But the Admiral of the Fleet Duss Jarru who was a Mon Calamari was ordered by the Supreme Chancellor that if they are not willing to negotiate then he is free to attack.

Unlike the last Chancellor of the Republic this new Chancellor wasn't going to shy away from conflict and was instead focused solely on keeping the Republic in once piece and preventing the spread of the Galactic Empire's influence across the Galaxy.

His name is Supreme Chancellor Fen Troz and he could be considered a radical Chancellor of the Republic. He won the election solely off of the votes of the People who believed that he could be the one to bring stability back to the Republic.

So when he got the new that Naboo was blockaded by the Trade Federation and invaded he didn't hesitate to send a fleet to negotiate a peaceful resolution, and if that didn't work than he would attack them.

The plague of corporations exploiting the Galactic Republic was over starting now and he would show them that he means business'.

As long as the people believe in him than the Senate can't kick him out of office without risking a major collapse of the Government.

This is his first year as Chancellor and he wanted to show the people that what he said during his campaign was true.

Meanwhile on Naboo a cloaked ship was flying through the atmosphere of the Planet heading for the Royal Palace.

Inside of this ship was Delta Team, a squad of Spartans from the Terran Ascendency.

Each squad of Spartan's has been assigned an area of the Galaxy in which they will conduct their operation's. They are supported by droid's of various kind that help with their Operation's in their assigned Region.

Once they had gotten word from the Spy Droid on Naboo about an Invasion they had immediately came to help the people of Naboo.

There mission was to protect Queen from the Trade Federation Droids. And to do this they more than enough equipment on board the cloaked Transport ship which was carrying them at the moment.

The leader of Delta Team was Lt. Kingsley. His squad wore dark red armor and so did the droids that he had with him that numbered 12.

These 12 droids are one of the most advanced droids of the Terran Ascendency. They are way more competent then the Trade Federation Droids and could not be matched in any type of combat.

They are made to be able to counter any type of enemy forces including any ground target's, and any air target's besides warships since they could only destroy up to fighters.

As the Transport ship got close the Spartans began to get ready.

"Alright team our mission is to Protect Queen Amidala from the Trade Federation droids and army that is attacking the city" Said Lt. Kingsley as he continued "We will be getting dropped off directly on top of the Palace where we will make our way towards the Queen and Support any of her Royal Guards along the way"

All the Spartans said "Aye Sir" at the same time.

One of the Spartans who was a communications specialist had approached the Lt with a hologram device in hand.

"Lt I have managed to get in contact with the Queen" Said the Comms Specialists as he handed the device over to Kingsley.

Once he grabbed it the Device pulled up the image of Queen Amidala who was sitting on her Throne.

"Hello their strange, may I know why you are contacting me at a time like this" asked Queen Amidala.

"Your Majesty I am Lt. Kingsley in charge of a spec ops force and I have come to assist your people if you would allow it" Asked Lt. Kingsley since if she rejected they could still turn around.

"I have a lot of question's for you but now is not the time, so I would be very much happy if you could assist my Royal Guards" Said Queen Amidala.

"Thank you your Majesty we will be at the Palace shortly and I will speak to you personally" replied Lt. Kingsley.

"Very well I will see you then" Said Queen Amidala as the hologram disconnected.

Captain Panaka who was next to the Queen was confused since ever since the Trade Federation invaded their Communications have been down.

"Your Majesty how did they contact you the Communications have been down" Said Captain Panaka as he tried to use the communicator to contact his forces.

But it still wasn't working which made him even more confused.

"We will get our answers once these Mercenaries arrive but until then let's hold off the Droids for a little longer" Said Queen Amidala

"But what if it's a trap to capture you" Questioned Captain Panaka

Queen Amidala started off into space before she replied "I have a strong feeling that's not the case"
