Rica Island’s War #11

Yvie popped out from a hole in the ground far away and watched the battle that was ongoing.

Liushi was taking on the most difficult task as he attracted the most attention to himself and kept counterattacking as his large war glaives cut through the large bulky muscles and left many different sized wounds.

However the wounds did not seem to affect the lawless king at all since some of the energy was spent on expanding his muscles to make them stronger and harder than before as he kept getting bigger.

The bigger that he became, the smaller the wounds he received and although he had become slightly slower and more clumsy, he was able to create much more powerful attacks.

He held his ground and sent out many punches towards Liushi which caused further damage to the surroundings and put even more pressure on Liushi. "Meteor Fist!"

He followed up with a leg sweep which narrowly missed while he suffered a light wound on the bulky leg of his. "Axe!"

Yvie watched from far away and felt helpless but quickly took out a small attachment to he Pop Green launcher on her arm. "This may not be a big help but it should be enough."

In her hand was a small circular vial that could be attached to the launcher which contained a newly developed liquid which had been an improvement to the nitrate spray.

She started loading several Pop Green into each launcher and then started digging underground as she waited for her chance.

It was not long before a big change took place as the buildings had long been destroyed, Liushi had started to struggle against the enemy and even the Haki arrows and other trick arrows were unable to cause a large amount of harm to the lawless kings body.

From a blind spot, Yvie lifted up her arms as she took aim and squeezed the trigger which had resulted in a Pop Green flying through the cylinder tubing of the launcher but as it exited, a small watery mist was also released just as the Pop Green exited which lead to the Pop Green passing through it. "Pop Green, Super Growth."

The two Pop Green continued to fly until they hit the legs of the lawless king at the most opportune time but following that, some snake like vines started to grow and started to restrict the lower half of the lawless king.

However unlike a normal constricting vine, the growth of it was much faster and the plant itself seemed to be much more aggressive and stronger than before.

Another seed flew towards him as he tried to pull the vines from his body which hit him in the back this time after Yvie had changed her position.

The seed transformed into a large impact wolf which had also been made to be much more aggressive and stronger than before.

The impact caused a large amount of internal damage to the lawless king which passed by his tough muscular defence followed by another constricting vine which allowed wrapped around his upper body.

His previous attempts to rip the vines from his lower body had been interrupted and he found himself unable to break free as the vines started to squeeze tighter.

Two more vines were added shortly after as they helped to wrap up his entire body, his heavy breathing could be heard within by those close by which gave an indication that he was under a lot of pressure and was low on energy.

Within the vines that bound his body, his hands were reaching around his body until he found an object and quickly reduced his body size for a moment so that he could loosen the grip of the vines and reduce his overall toughness.

A needle penetrated his flesh and he felt his strength being renewed once again but he quickly found that the vines had lost their grip on him so they instinctively intended to bind his body much tighter so that he could not escape.

His eyes became red as he roared within the vines while his mouth seemed to be covered in blood after taking the impact. "You vile pests!"

Yvie's eyes sharpened and she fired off many more vines which added to the layer of vines that wrapped around where he stood as they tightened. "Everyone be careful! Something is strange!"

Suddenly the tightening of the vines came to a halt as the lawless king had regained his muscular body and continued to expand in muscle size.

A battle took place between the restrictive power of the vines and the expanding body of the lawless kings but it seemed that it only continued for a while until it finally came to a halt once again after Yvie added on some more layers of vines.

Within the vines, the lawless king was roaring and swearing as he struggled to free himself from his restraints until finally he became quiet.

Everyone started to watch quietly to see if he had been defeated and some in the distance had become cheerful as victory had been achieved but a strange thing happened shortly after.

Some kind of smoke or steam seemed to pass through the gaps in the vines as if something was burning up within.

Inside there was a large hulk like muscular man which continued to shrink down to his original build.

Before consuming the fruit, he could be considered as a strong individual that could earn a decent bounty since he was able to keep his two combatants in line and loyal to him for so long.

With the powers he possessed, he could use the muscular strength beyond his original limits and even match up to a strong attack by someone with even higher strength than most superhuman individuals and catch up to some of the stronger people on Vice Admiral level but his lack of Haki would put him at a disadvantage.

If he wanted to achieve an even higher level then he would have to greatly reduce his speed and movement because of his body becoming far too bulky but when he had started to be worn out and be forced into a desperate situation, he had to inject himself with the serum which allowed him to transform again.

It was still not enough to break out as he was still being heavily restricted and more were being added so no matter how much he grew, he would not be able to break free so he chose the final resort.

He grit his teeth and started to compress all of his bulky muscle as he reverted back to his original body size while his muscles looked very compact but powerful.

Steam came off his body and his whole body emitted a strong heat as he was burning through a large amount of energy.

The moment that he had become small once again gave him the chance to have a short period before the vines would reach him again so he started attacking them from within and ripped them.

"He is breaking out!"

"Delay him!"

"It must be his final struggle! Do not give in!"

Many bullets were shot through the gaps that hit his body but they seemed to bounce off him but several arrows flew inside which followed by a flash of light which helped to delay him a little every time.

More vines were added to the layer of constricting vines around him but they did not help that much anymore since the power the lawless king was using was now made more compact which helped to increase his overall power, speed and defence to inhuman levels.

Just as he was about to escape, his arm was stretched outside the vines as he grabbed onto the outer layer ready to rip onto it but then there was a strong grip on his arm which he had difficulty shaking off right away followed by another strong flash of light which blinded him.

In the next moment, something had been placed on his wrist and his body became weak as it collapsed within the vines.
