Spark of inspiration

The problem with Bruce was quickly wrapped up and following that, many people in high positions were exposed for their foul deeds and for taking bribes to do things for Bruce or looking the other way.

A small amount of workers within the White Storm had ignored the warnings that had been given to them and fell under the control of Bruce so upon finding out who they were, Alfred either demoted or fired them depending on how bad their actions were against the White Storm.

Some wives received proof of their husbands affairs and while high ranking officials or even nobles gained valuable proof on their enemies who had always gotten ahead of them by doing many bad things and cheating the system to make a profit for themselves.

While some pieces of information were kept for Alfred to hold onto to use when he needed it, he made sure to collect the berries for the bounties before sending the proof of the Marines that ignored his report to the higher ups.

If the Marines did not respond to his claims and proof then he would take it much higher as he had proof on that person too since they were in league with many of them he had reported.

He mainly did so because he wished to test if those people had truly learned their lesson before going above them but he was greatly disappointed.

A total restructure of power took place and many previous prisoners of Impel Down were captured or killed as the White Storm received the credit and rewards while those who had gained from everything, were grateful to the White Storm and kind of owed them a favour.

One small event had such a big impact in many places and the business of the White Storm started to expand as more were attracted to their good image that had been created.

Upon Ann's return to the stage, she started her tour once more and released a new album while Liushi had his hands full protecting her and Aizah who had often sung and toured together as a duo and solo act while Aizah still acted as her manager.

Pascia continued to improve herself further and occasionally showed up at several modelling and beauty pageants while occasionally showing up as a dancer at some performances which helped to increase her fame even more.

Ann, Aizah and Pascia were slowly reaching the top as their fame was even further on the rise which made many wish to see them perform even more which was very good for the White Storms profits.

Meanwhile within Rica Island, the gardens were being tended to by Yvie, Ting and Ton but a while after a lightning strike had hit the garden, they noticed that while some plants were destroyed, the surrounding ones were growing well or it could be said that they were growing much better than before.

Yvie excitedly reported it to Alyssia. "So that is what happened."

Alyssia tried to think of some things she had read in her previous life about lightning strikes and trees or plants but the information about it was very vague but when searching through the system with all of the knowledge she had collected, she found why she felt it was familiar. "The heat and pressure waves generated by lightning can kill or damage plants instantaneously, causing losses in crops, forests and landscapes but it can have some beneficial effects to nature. Fire is important for clearing dry brush and making way for new plant growth so the fires created by lightning cannot always be a bad thing but if you are wondering why the gardens have become greener and more verdant in the past weeks, i can explain why. Nitrogen is a great fertiliser but plants cannot make use of the elemental nitrogen in the atmosphere which is made from two nitrogen atoms or N2 but instead need a form of nitrate, or NO3. Upon being split apart by the lightning strike, the nitrogen atoms will bond with the nearby oxygen instead and the result is nitric acid which is then absorbed into the falling raindrops that accompany lightning. The raindrops both shift the nitric acid into nitrate and carry newly formed nitrate down into the soil which is the prime spot for to be absorbed by the plants. The more lightning, the more nitrates, which means more fertiliser in the soil below."

Yvie, Ting and Ton had excited looks on their faces. "Although I do not understand most of it.. you must know it well enough so can it be used?"

Alyssia nodded. "I can either create it with my weather science and cause the same effects on the garden areas but there is always a risk of setting fires or ruining the plants so some protection needs to be put up for the plants or it should be done in between planting. Either that or I could try to make some nitrate for you to use as fertiliser or some soil with a large amount of nitrates within that have been made in a controlled environment or using a large amount of electricity or electro to create the same result."

Among the many things she had browsed on the internet during her earlier years or for research purposes or fact checking during the time working on the game, she had stumbled across a couple of different science and weather related things and with the addition of her system storing everything she had read even if she did not remember that far back, the weather science and her knowledge gained on thunder, lightning and electro based powers that she had learned had helped form many methods to reproduce that.

Yvie restrained her excitement. "Um.. just some bottled sprays would be enough."

Alyssia nodded. "Good, then I will have it done very quickly. So… do you wish to work together on this as a business idea?"

Yvie blinked. "Really? Would it sell?"

Alyssia shrugged. "Think of your home which is so desolate and without hope of ever recovering even if it gets enough rain.. other places will take a long time to recover so if we market the nitrate sprays or soil to such places.. you could probably imagine the response once it starts making some lands greener. We Minks may use our Electro in simplistic ways most of the time but it does not mean that it can only be used to assist fighting as you have seen. It can be used to power many things and make everyones lives much easier. Thank you for reminding me of this…"

Alyssia had been too focussed on making tools for combat or to defend the lives of her crew members so she had forgotten the most basic concepts that she knew about electricity.

While focussing on mechs, robots, cyborg enhancements and many other things like the power generators or electrical fences, she had forgotten on how to make improvements to the environment around her or create something that could change the world she was living in.

Perhaps she had grown too used to the world she was living in that was mismatched with many types of technology that allowed her to live well so she had forgotten the previous life's advancements in technology.

She had not missed many of her electrical devices and got to explore the new possibilities of the world of One Piece but upon realising her errors, new plans started to take form which would shape the very image of the future paradise that she was to build in the future.

A little while later, N-spray and N-soil was promoted by the White Storm and shipped to many places as it helped to enrich plant growth and improve the lands that were previously in bad shape while many plant specialists and researchers wished to know of its source and how it was made because of the positive effects that it brought.

Another small project was put forward as the Sunken Castle gained light during the night with the help of a project to make some light bulbs and set up a stable electrical system within the castle and on the walls.

Those within the walls of the Sunken Castle no longer needed to rely on other types of technology to see in the dark or spot intruders near the walls outside.

Small advancements were slowly being made one after another while Alyssia, Tristan and Nica of the Mink Tribe were further exploring uses of the Electro including the new route of electrochemistry which they had nit explored too deeply before while Yvie, Ting and Ton had gained a little more berries to spend thanks to the success of the products.

Dr Indigo almost went insane upon discovering all of the new possibilities that the Mink's Electro could bring to many of his previous projects so he was more than eager to work with Tristan and Alyssia to further improve upon what they had researched together.

Further experimentation allowed for more breakthroughs in the use of Electro which included electric fields and their effects on crystallisation and the purifying of substances, so more and more possibilities one after another.

It also helped that Alyssia was able to track down some known locations that were more advanced in mineral, gems, diamonds or any other types of research so that she could spend a lot of her built up points to help learn more about the crystallisation processes for each substance after she had finished purchasing her upgrades for her Haki and blade based skills upon visiting the island where Zoro and Mihawk were staying at every now and again as her points were almost full during the time passed or upgraded her science related skills at Sabaody.
